“I love this store! I bought my first temple dress here 18 years ago and still get compliments on it. Now I’m back and finally getting more. I went to another newer store earlier today and didn’t like the styles offered. The lighting also makes such a difference when you’re looking at all white, you can see all the details much better. The staff is so sweet and amazing too. I just feel more peace at this store. Love it!”

“Needed a down jacket for a backpacking trip and because it's off-season I gave the store a call to see if they even had any in stock! My boy Shane went on a whole side quest to find the jacket AND then even explored inventory to see if there were any fun colors they hadn't shipped to the outlet yet. Called me back super fast and said he found one! Took the journey up to Murray and once again Shane was the GOAT of customer service and just being a fun, easy to chat with, good-natured human. I don't know what that man gets paid, but whatever it is it's NOT ENOUGH.”

“We shopped on one of the most busy days with school starting and even with the store being so full of people Kim did an amazing job helping our group of 5 girls. We needed different sizes when trying on clothes and she was always right there to help us. Kim deserves more than 5 stars! Thank you!!!”

“I like the general variety that Uptown Cheapskates has! The employees have always been very nice and helpful to me. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star review was because the variety, quality and amount of woman’s shirts was lacking this time. I will be back.”

“We just shopped here on a weekend, store had lots of things in stock we liked and we bought a few things. Wanted to leave a review that the staff were very friendly, the vibe in a store like this (that tends to get crowded) is really important. Everyone who worked there was so nice that it made the experience a lot nicer for me even though it was really busy which overwhelms me. So I really appreciated that.”

“Had such a great experience at Downeast at Fashion Place Mall! Brenda, the manager, and Alana went above and beyond with their kindness, professionalism, and customer service. They were incredibly welcoming and genuinely helpful from the moment I walked in. The store was also spotless, organized, and such a pleasant place to shop. It’s rare to find a team that makes customers feel this valued. Thank you both for making my visit such a positive experience. I’ll definitely be back!”

“My husband got a shirt from this store, and it kept getting snags, which was really disappointing given the price and the quality we expected. This actually happened twice, so we had decided we probably wouldn’t shop here again. When I went back to the Fashion Place location, Mark Anthony was so kind and understanding. He went above and beyond to make things right and assured me that what happened wasn’t the norm. His exceptional service honestly won our business back. Thank you, Mark!”

“Today I was desperate to find something to look my best while at Fashion Place Mall. I found what I was looking for at the Madewell there. Honestly, I’ve never thought that I looked decent in any other clothes. But I had the help of their stylist, Didi, as well as other staff members, including Kayan, Ashley and Julie. Together they helped me find what I needed and feel great about myself at the end of it all. Having their help, I realize it’s not that the clothes didn’t look good on me, I just needed some expertise and everyone there has it. I will definitely be going back.”

“Brought my son here a week ago. He wanted his first skateboard for his birthday. The manager was amazing with him. He explained everything step by step, helped him pick out each piece, explained brands, and then took him through the building process. I loved how excited he was to help. He was very passionate about skateboards. And I loved that he didn't just build it for my son, but taught him how and had him help. It was amazing!!”

“So fun and they have random stuff but it’s so cool! It smells fine. Nice and cool air Bought a cat book and asked if they had any and this girl looked very hard in the back, even getting her manager to help. Had cool items. Lots of clearance for people looking for stuff in a lower budget!!”

“I had the pleasure of coming across the most customer service oriented employee named Diane Traverse. I have been in customer service for over 45 years and I know a natural. Most companies have employees that don’t seem to care about the company or the customer. Thank you Talbots for having a caring and knowledgeable employee. I will be back!”

“Love this location! I came in around black Friday last year and got a pair of flare leggings that I LOVE. I didn't get the employees name at the time, but even in the busy rush of things, she was SO HELPFUL and found me alternatives when they didn't have what I wanted. I went back again today just to see and to my surprise they had denim! Conrad assisted me and was the best! He was so kind to explain the sizing to me and the difference in the stretch. He was very helpful without being overbearing. He didn't even bother us when we left empty handed! I ended up stopping back in on my way out to get another pair of the same leggings I love, and even 10 minutes before closing he was so helpful to point me right to them. This location has been seriously wonderful and helpful every time I come in. They have a pretty fair range of sizes and styles, and their store is very clean and well organized. This is a long review, but as a retail employee myself I am so super pleased at the staff at this location and their store conditions. Keep up the good work guys you are seriously awesome!! And thank you so much to Conrad for making us feel welcome ❤️”
