“Vella Chinchay went above and beyond the call of duty I travel constantly 250 nights a year and I always love to stop in Johnson and pick up something new. A couple of my recent purchases. I bought one size too small and I didn’t have the receipt, but I had a little time today and she looked it up and exchange them for beautiful, beautiful jackets that fit me perfect so I went ahead and bought two more really great sport jackets with the built-in zipper vest for fall and winter

“Stopped by 5.11 looking for a specific pair of shoes, but they didn’t have my size in stock. Instead of just telling me to order them online, the employee took the time to find a few similar models for me to try on so we could make sure the size would be right before ordering.
He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very efficient. Once we figured out the correct size, he placed the online order for me and even made sure my discount was applied. I really appreciated that he took the extra step to verify the fit beforehand rather than having me guess and potentially deal with an exchange later.

“Jonathan and I are about as different as two people can be, style included — he wanted an English-style navy three-piece, I wanted something ultra-modern and all black. We walked in with basically no idea what we actually wanted, and Rubin didn't just take an order, he educated us. Extra sessions, extra time, real patience with two grooms who had zero shared taste to work from.
Here's the part that actually got me, though: I'm colorblind. I came in a second time on my own, kind of panicking, convinced a fabric I liked was grey — it wasn't a color I could even see correctly. Instead of brushing past that, Rubin pulled a whole new set of options built around texture and visual interest instead of color, so I could actually trust what I was choosing instead of guessing. We landed on an all-black fabric with a subtle snakeskin-like weave — sharp, a little bit alt, completely me. I felt seen, not just fitted.
Jonathan got his classic three-piece, I got my black two-piece with an edge, and somehow both of us walked away feeling completely ourselves on our wedding day. That's the job done right.”
