“Giving my same review from the market:I've heard a bit about the fried chicken here and since I was driving through, we stopped for lunch. I'll explain my 4-star a bit. For a gas station without much around, it was a good meal at a reasonable price. I went with the 3-piece dinner, which gets you a thigh, wing, drumstick, and two sides. There were a few options and I went with scalloped potatoes and onion rings... Oh, and a dinner roll. For $9.99 it felt pretty reasonable. Chicken and sides were warm. Chicken was crispy, good seasoning, but not complex flavor. Onion rings are real onion rings (not minced) and batter fried. Scalloped potatoes were better than expected and they were a decent portion.In the end, it was good fried chicken from a gas station, though I don't think I'd go out of the way for it. Driving past at meal time and it's a reasonable option that won't break the bank.”

“Amazing little store within walking distance of resort. Has a gas station outside. You will find most day to day stuff you need. Eggs, milk, bread, fruits etc. they also have kitchen that serves fresh sandwiches and pizza. Reasonable prices given the location. Very courteous staff. Sandwich and pizza section closes at 6:30 or so.”

“Just getting back from our cross country road trip and stopped here before our last stretch home to Norfolk.Out of all of the gas stations we have been in this was top 5 of one of the cleanest, best stocked and well kept ! The floors were newly cleaned and the bathrooms smelled and looked so clean !!!Wanted to leave a review because it had a lower rating than it deserves for sure ??(Also bc one of the gas stations we went to in the Midwest was so great and I forgot to leave a review, so I didn’t want to forget to leave this before I forgot !!)Friendly staff and great convenience food/drinks to choose from.”
“Conveniently located just inside the store. Staff are very helpful and the line usually moves quickly. RXs phoned in normally available for pick up in 2-3 hours. For RXs transmitted by the medical providers office, you will get an automated message when it's ready. Most items are in stock but if not, then it's usually only 1-2 days before the have it in stock. Vaccines are available on a walk-in and appointment basis. Pharmacists are professional, extremely knowledgeable, and will provide assistance with OTC products as well.”

“Came for the food with the bonus of filling the gas tank. I got this cookbook, Turkey and the Wolf, this place was mentioned by name. The author describes living in Virginia and the gas station food culture, fried chicken was the star at this place. I had to try it. My husband and I were on a 16 day Eastern National Park tour and spending 3 days on the southern end of Shenandoah NP. The end of Sky Line Drive almost dumps you out here. Fried Chicken 8/10: FRESH, seasoned, juicy, crispy. A very tasty straightforward chicken. Macaroni Salad 8/10: Sauced just right, big ol chunks of fresh peppers and cucumbers, simple and light. Potato Salad 8/10: Perfectly cooked potatoes, light simple dressing, needed a touch of salt and pepper but that’s just my preference. Worth the stop!”

“The staff here are always helpful and kind enough to greet ya even at 6:30AM. I appreciate the business they offer but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE clean you're oven or whatever you use to heat up your pizza. The slice I ate this morning was so smokey it gave me awful smoke burps and a taste in my mouth for the rest of the morning and day. I know it's gas station pizza but tell your boss to get in there and give it a good scrub.”

“Added comment at the end...In this world of imperfect human's, its refreshing to know that people still listen and care what you think. Great management team and caring customer service..............................I went in this store to handle a money issue. Unknown to me I gave the man an extra $50 bill. He asked me a couple times what amount I was doing. I told him. He then in front of me, counted out the money and gave me $50 back. I would have never known, but his honesty is a warm welcomed change in this sometimes cold world we live in. Thanks”
“Muy uncle Dave Mayo used to own and run this store until he sold it to the present owners. The couple who own it now isn't like some of the foreigners that own stores around here. They are always very friendly and always greet you when you come into there store. Some people didn't like it that from the section of the world they come from. Hey they are Americans that are living there life and maybe there dream.”

“CVS at the West Broad location is a very nice store and pharmacy. They offered a wide variety of products from self care, home, and personal needs. I frequent the pharmacy a lot at this location and everyone has always been very friendly and offers knowledgeable helpful service - even when they are slammed with customers. As reminder to old and new customers, the pharmacy itself does close between 1:30-2:00pm everyday for lunch. There is plenty of parking at the front and side of the store. The West Broad location also offers drive through service. Please for effective and fast service for everyone have your barcode and method of payment ready, especially if there is a long line of people waiting, it’s just a nice courtesy and gets you through quicker as well.”

“We had a great experience last Tue on July 4th! The gas was on sale for I think $1.77 per gallon. The girl who helped us was very nice! She was friendly and helpful despite the long lines of cars to get cheap gas. The store inside and out was very clean as well. We would definitely recommend this location!”
