“The King Street store is one of the best. I am always greeted upon entry into the store and a fitting room is automatically reserved for me. Allison, Rita, Tricia, Dionna and everyone else takes such great care of me. Whenever I have an appointment, they'll pull a variety of options based on my needs. If something is not available in my size, they will make sure to order it and have it delivered directly to my house. They also notify me of upcoming promotions. More important than any of that is the welcome and nurturing atmosphere Allison creates. The King Street store always treats its customers with compassion and upmost respect. I will only shop in this location.”

“This charming children's shop carries high quality children's clothing for special occasions and everyday, with the best selection of children's shoes in the city of Alexandria (Hunter, boys leather loafers, Native, See Kai Run, saddle shoes, Keen). It is a classic store but also has new trends. They are one of my go-tos for holiday pjs, classic items like wool or rain coats and well-made, long lasting shoes like rainboots and saddle shoes. Now that my boys are older, it is a good place for sacrament outfits for first communion or cotillion clothes. I love their selection of unique gifts and it is one of my boys' favorites to pick up a Jelly Cat stuffed animal, Melissa and Dog classic wooden toys or cute hairbows and jewelry. At the holidays, they are my go-to for Thymes fir candles and monogrammed items. They monogrammed my boys' heirloom baptism gown with their names and baptism dates through the in-house Del Ray monograms and expanded to Del Ray Balloons. They used to have a terrific consignment corner and their sales are the best, where I stock up on the next size up. The owners Paula and Linda know long-time customers by name and have great customer service and know host to hustle, surviving the pandemic with innovation and grit.”

“Very clean and well-organized store, and the employees were professional and polite. I went when there was a BOGO sale and I thought I had won the jackpot, until I discovered that there were very few styles where there were sizes under 8 (women's) in stock. Management needs to either order more smaller sizes 6-7.5 or keep up with their inventory better. I will definitely come back later to check things out.”
