“My only complaint is to be wary of bringing your pups here. We were charged a $25 pet fee for a one night stay. Which is odd because it’s the complete reverse of Aloft’s standard free pet stay policy. We were so thrown off by this charge, commenting with the check-in staff about it but they said the fee was standard for their location. Hopefully this is the only Aloft with this absurd pet policy.Walkability: Can walk to the gas station and Starbucks .”

“Stayed with relatives for an event recently and then we stayed for 2 nights recently. Great location One Loudoun full of restaurants and some retail. Management (Anna) helpful..although it does seem at times the front desk does not receive instructions for things like room location, but otherwise staff very helpful.

When booking suggestion ask if any kid events during your stay and if so request quiet rooms as it can get loud.

Serves a nice breakfast and has a decent gym. Folks remember to tip the staff cleaning your tables and housekeeping. True they do not service every day but they will get you anything you need.

Given wedding business and location, great value for the rates and/or points.

Tip park hotel area as they tow in the garages if overnight. Also park around back for easy entrance to elevators.”

“Traveled here for a business trip during a snowstorm. There's nothing fancy about this place, but the manager Scott helped me dig my car out of the snow. He didn't have to do anything, but he goes above and beyond for the customers here and he made sure I was alright every single day. I can't thank him enough.”

“Whew! This place came through for me in a pinch! My flight was missed due to weather and I needed a list minute hotel. Ashanti at this location was able to secure me a room by the time I walked in. She made sure I had all of the information of checkout, where to eat, and the complimentary breakfast. Impeccable service by her! Thanks again and if you need anything quality place for the night, this is where you can be!”

“Five Stars!

The hospitality at Candlewood Suites Washington Dulles Sterling was awesome. Amy and Adam were amazing and polite to work with. We had some guys stay here for work for about a month, and it was a pleasurable experience.

Five stars all the way.

Thanks again, Candlewood team!”

“Very good and clean hotel. With the accessibility to the restaurant and fast food area.
Cons:
1- No fan for the toilet in the room
2- Pillows are uncomfortable
2- One remote control for 2 TVs
3- No Disney or kids channel in TV list
4- Swiming Pool is closed and must go to the Nearby Club which doesn't allow kids under 12”

“Highly recommend this hotel, particularly if you’re hosting a conference. We had about 250 people in a couple of weeks ago. The staff was outstanding. The facilities are great. The hotel is near enough other places to eat that if they want to leave the hotel it’s pretty easy to do. The conference food was very good.”

“Where do I even start? After going through a terrible experience with a nearby Marriott (Fairfield Inn Herron Reston) I ended up at this location by booking it last minute. The person on the other end of the phone was ALISIA !! The purpose of my travel was very sensitive and of course she didn’t know that but her service, her attitude, her spirit and her kindness changed my entire day that left both of us hugging in tears! I’m so glad that I stayed here. This woman deserves an excellent performance evaluation. I hope she receives the recognition that she truly is so deserving of. I hope to receive a survey from Marriott to let them know about their employee Alisia.”

“I spent two weeks here and would recommend it overall. Pros: decent size room, adequate kitchenette with essential supplies and large refrigerator, good fitness center, complimentary coffee, free laundry, free parking, easy access to the Dulles toll road, very friendly staff. Cons: AC unit was loud and left a bad smell in the room, wifi was slow at times, office chair was very uncomfortable, toilet clogged easily, room was a bit dark, and hotel overall is a bit worn. I usually stay in higher end hotels, but considering the length of my stay, I didn't want to pay $250 a night. This hotel isn't luxurious, but it's a good value.”

“Parking was easy, and stupidly cheap.
The room was amazing and it had probably on of the greatest shower heads ever. The staff were friendly and easy to get along with. The food at the bar is good as well.”

“Rooms: Spacious and clean. Two king-size beds, A/C, coffee machine with complimentary capsules, TV. WiFi available.

Bathroom: clean, but nothing special.

Service: The staff were polite and friendly.

Breakfast: pretty OK. Bread and toast available, butter, jam, eggs, fruits, yogurt...

Location: near the Dulles airport.”

“The Hampton was a great choice for a weekend family function in a nearby town. The staff & management was A+, & helped us as we dealt with an unfortunate motor vehicle issue we had during our visit. We will definitely be staying here in the future.”

“I was traveling for work and looking for a place close to Dulles and the Silver Line that wouldn't have a problem with a late check-in. The Courtyard Dulles was exactly what I needed.

They offer a free shuttle service to and from Dulles. I gave them a call and let them know I was ready for a shuttle bus and in the correct pickup section. The bus was there within 10 minutes and had me at the hotel really quickly.

Checkin was easy despite it being around 9:45 PM when I got there. My room was ready and I was checked in within minutes.

The room was pretty nice and most importantly the bed pretty comfortable to get a nights sleep. I enjoyed that many of the plugs in the room were accompanied by USB plugs as well making it easy to charge up any electronics. The TV also had built in apps for things like Netflix, Max, and YouTube. You can login with your own accounts and supposedly they will clear everything automatically when you leave. I manually forced a logout just to be safe.

It was nice having my Netflix on the TV but it was pretty slow and buffered some. The same was true with Max. One nice perk though is that Max was free to watch while in the hotel.

Checkout in the morning was easy. The breakfast location doesn't open until 6:30 and beware it is a paid breakfast option. I wasn't hungry so I passed on that.

I was able to walk about 10 minutes to the Innovation Station metro stop after checking out and get into DC pretty easily. So for my purposes the Courtyard Dulles Airport Herndon did everything I needed.

Walkability: It was an easy walk to the Innovation Station metro stop to catch the Silver Line.”

“I didn’t get to experience much other than checking in late and sleeping but it got the job done and is SUPER close to the airport. Only had to wait a few minutes for the shuttle at midnight.

Price was a bit high but I booked same day so I’m not sure if that affected the pricing or not.”

“My favorite place to stay. It has a bedroom, livingroom and kitchen area and the free breakfast is great! Suasage, eggs, waffles, cereal, toast, yogurt, fruit...”

“Convenient location, next to Dulles. The hotel is nice but was undergoing reservations when we stayed there. There was some construction noise and smell of new carpet. The room was nice and staff very friendly. The shuttle driver is amazing...so nice, so helpful, and just genuinely happy! I needed his dose of sunshine for this trip! Also the breakfast is really good! The best veggie omelette ever!”

“Excellent place near the airport, very good service, and the bed is very comfortable.

Rooms: The room is in excellent condition, comfortable and cozy, it only does not include drinking water.

Safety: Relatively safe due to its security system and the area is quiet.

Food and drinks: There is an internal restaurant and it is very delicious, as well as a good price.”

“I’ve stayed at Best Western hotels many times, and as always, the service and cleanliness were excellent. But today, for the first time, I felt the need to write a review — because of Miakelle at the front desk.

She was incredibly friendly, very attentive, and most importantly, I could see that she genuinely wanted to help people. Please take notice of this employee — she is truly professional and highly qualified.

Thank you, Miakelle, for making my stay so pleasant!”

“Late night check in, night auditor very friendly, professional, inquire if I have BW rewards or other for discount. I was very tired having driven 300 miles, but, being treated with pleasantry really meant a lot to me.”

“This place is alright if you're needing a hotel room that isn't too expensive. Rooms were relatively clean along with the rest of the property. Location was good as it's close to many restaurants and shops. Only issue I really had was with people slamming their doors. Not sure why people feel the need to do that but it was unbelievably frustrating. People these days have lost all common sense and relative awareness of what they are doing. This is a decent hotel but I'd be hesitant to stay here again due to the noise.”

“Andrew Mercer, the bartender, was a joy. He shared the history of the original house with me. I watched as he greeted each patron with kindness and humor. What an asset to this hotel!”
