“I’ve been going to this station for at least 20 years. Normally I’d be in and out for the inspection within 45 minutes.Though this time it was longer, as I watched I got upset. Why is the inspector lifting my car? I didn’t ask for an oil change. William (the manager) explained that the state police added items to the inspection-seatbelts, suspension, steering components, the inside brake pads.Next year I’ll make sure I plan to spend more time there…and I’m assuming with a more thorough/timely inspection-it’ll be more expensive.”
“I have been a regular customer of this convenience and smoke shop for over 2 years now, and I can honestly say that they are the best in town. The brothers and staff are always friendly, helpful, and courteous. They greet me by name, remember my preferences, and offer me discounts and freebies. They have a wide selection of products, from snacks and drinks to vaping supplies. The prices are reasonable and the quality is excellent. The store is clean, well-organized, and has a cozy atmosphere. I always feel welcome and comfortable here, like I am part of their family. “This just became my new favorite sandwich spot…I would rate it 6 stars if I could! I got the Stadium sandwich on a sub roll and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Fresh bread, fresh ingredients, and super friendly employees make this a lovely gem in the Navy Yard area. Highly recommend!”

“Amazing food - very flavorful sandwiches for around $10 perfect for lunch and the store has a great selection of snacks, wine etc.. For a casual warm weather dinner, it's great to get a bottle of wine, cheese and crackers, and a couple of sandwiches and sit at the tables outside.”
“Really nice small, local grocery. They are like a local whole foods or foxtrot competitor but on a smaller level.They offer alot of trendy food items like high hydrogen water, lavendar popcorn (which was good), and much more.They also have a coffee bar and fresh food bar. I bought the chickpea chorizo which was super delicious but so small for the price. I wish they gave like a couple pieces of bread or toast or something. The bowl came with potato chunks, chickpea chorizo pieces (so flavorful), corn, the world's smallest egg, and arugula, and spices. So so good. Service was excellent too. And they gave dining space inside and out as well as plugs and wifi.Highly highly recommend!”

“I was looking for some fashion and coffee table-type magazines in foreign languages for a work-related event, and wasn’t able to find them anywhere, until someone recommended I check out The Newsroom on Connecticut Ave NW in DuPont Circle. It was great! I bought 3 Vogues (French, German, and Italian), a People magazine (Spanish), and a few other fashion magazines. These will be great for our office’s fun activities related to learning/studying foreign languages. The owners were super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!”

“Love foxtrot!! Have tried several coffee shops in old town and foxtrot always comes out on top - great cappuccinos, lattes and matcha. Ordering drinks ahead on the app is super convenient and if you make an account, you get 1 free drink a month.The staff is very friendly and welcoming, there is lots of seating upstairs, and they have a well curated selection of snacks and misc food items.”

“I've been here a couple times. It's a small place with great service. The deli is excellent. I recommend the Reuben with no modifications.On one occasion, my card was unexpectedly declined; the cashier was very gracious and took care of the next customer at the second register while I sorted out the issue, so I didn't suffer any further embarrassment OR hold up the line. I really appreciate that level of service.”
“Havent saw ms kyra since i was a kid in elementary/middle school) used to live a round the corner from her store in that area for 5 years & she helped get me in a karate class across the street from her store, even use to let me ,my bros, and my sister go when we didnt have enough $ for our items sometimes ... good to see she didnt sell out after all these years that passed i was 8 - 13 back then and 26 now and she still standing with all of all this gentrification uptown.. those were the good days Miss her and that area.”
“Decent liquor store: wide selection and reasonable prices. The store is under new management and they recently did renovations, which freshened the store up for sure. They seem to be running specials all the time and they change. There was always some promotion going when I stopped by. They have lottery if you play.”
“Good selection of stores to get a bite to eat. Parking is tight on the side near Subway. It’s walking distance from the Huntington Metro station. Clean parking lot with plenty of spaces. Post office is located between 7Eleven and El Rancho restaurant.”
“Joy's Deli is a hidden gem in the area. The food is ALWAYS great! When I have guests come in town, they absolutely love it. Their Cheesesteak is amazing! Breakfast is always hot and fresh! Definitely worth stopping by.”

“No discount on car wash if you purchase gas. Not the most expensive gas in the area and not the cheapest for regular 87 octane. One plus is that it does have a 7-11. The car wash was decent but a bit overpriced for what it was. For automatic car washes, I'd give it a 6 out of 10 since it got most of the dust off but really struggled getting the front of the car clean near the headlights. As far as the hood and sides it did an ok job. Deluxe car wash was the cheapest at $11. Also this is NOT a touch free car wash, so beware if you have paint you really care about but for older cars this was fine.”

“This place is a great mini variety store in a food desert. Sometimes they even have fresh fruits. They have so much stuff it's amazing. Everything from food to hair products to kitchen and garden products to smoke products. You can easily buy birthday gifts here too. It's a one stop shop. And the people who work there are always so kind.”
