“We have been using this location to rehearse for about a year. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They put up with out loud music. Having access to a locker room is great as well. During the spring we go outside and grill on breaks.”

“Great community center, lots of basketball and other court-sports, decent weight room, one of the few indoor running tracks open to the public, and there's an activity/recreation area with pool, table tennis, air hockey, and the like”

“Club in general is as average as any gym. However, Jennifer, the GM provides exceptional customer service and has some of the best energy I've ever encountered in a gym. Kudos for making a visitor feeling "at home" in your gym.”

“I mainly use the pool. It’s well maintained along with the hot tub and the sauna. The bathroom attendants are why I’m writing a review. They are on top of drops on the floor and are cleaning constantly. They keep the bathroom nicer than any gym I’ve ever been to. Even when it’s busy it never gets dirty. I so much appreciate them and what they do.”

“From the very first session, I was hooked. The workout is divided into 9 intense rounds, each targeting different muscle groups and incorporating a variety of exercises. It's like getting a full-body workout in just half an hour! The best part is that the rounds are structured as high-intensity interval training (HIT), which keeps my heart rate up and maximizes calorie burn. Totally worth it!”

“Hodges Fitness is far more than what I was expecting. Before Hodges, I did not work out. Now, I am working out every single day! Hodges provides well rounded classes: HIIT, strength training and yoga. You are building yourself physically but mentally as well. The words the coaches speak to you before, during, and after motivate you to keep going. The amount of times I’ve shed tears during our affirmations at the end of class truly shows the power this community holds. I love it here…and that’s on PERIOD!”

“Been going to MADabolic for several months now and really enjoy it compared to a "regular" gym, where I was getting bored of my same old routine. The classes challenge me in a good way and the staff are always friendly and supportive!”

“I’ll start by saying this, I’m super picky about where I go to the gym. The trainers can’t be scared to give me constructive criticism because I’m there to grow. Also, the vibes of the members have to be good. That said, I cannot recommend this place enough. The trainers have taught me so much in my time spent there. Also, the community of people is awesome. Even if they don’t know me super well, I can count on the high fives/fist bumps after class.I only left the gym because I moved to a new city and the commute became too much. But trust me, if I could pick up this gym and move it to my new city, I totally would still be a member. Highly recommend!”

“Coach Kelley is the best coach I've had in 8 years of CrossFit. She prioritizes athlete safety, misses no details, and keeps the cleanest gym you've ever used. She has a gift for adjusting workouts to an athlete's needs, and she prizes honest dialog between coach & athlete. The programming addresses all 10 of the basic physical skills in CrossFit, with a little extra love for endurance.”

“Have really loved MVMT so far!! One of the biggest things is that every instructor greets me by name. I had gone to a gym for 6 months and had to introduce myself almost every class; it’s not like that at MVMT. Plus, the 45 mins are packed with sweaty, fun, challenging movements that keep me feeling good all day. Overall a great gym with inclusive vibes. Highly recommend, especially if new to the area.”

“A great atmosphere! I’ve been coming to D1 for about 2 months now and I feel right at home. Everyone takes the time to actually get to know you and help with any fitness needs. It’s a very inviting environment and lovely place to make your fitness goals come true! When I first joined, I took the noon classes with Keith - what a fun class, however, the time did not work with my schedule. I started coming to the 6am class with Travis and let me tell you - I LOVE IT! I have found my place and my gym family. I highly recommend D1 to anyone.”

“I was here working out almost daily while I was in the DC metro area. I was very impressed with everyone of the coaches and office staff. They made billing and membership a breeze. I go to many CrossFit gyms a year due to traveling and this is by far the best one I’ve been too. I absolutely LOVE the programming Hannah does. It truly is different from all the other CrossFit’s. I can’t recommend this gym more to anyone. The coaches will tailer everything for you and truly work one on one with you. Very impressed.”

“I find it difficult finding a CF gym that offers open gym drop-ins so I was glad when I found Trident. The coaches were friendly. The facility was spacious and had everything! Will definitely return when I fly back.”

“Coming off 2 years of convalescence and rehab from a severe injury, I had lost my core strength, basic mobility, and gained weight. In F45, I found the right fit of scaleable functional fitness, coaching, quick turn recovery, and measurable feedback I needed to regain my fitness and movement. With consistency and scaling and little victories each day across 5 months. I returned to a healthy weight, body fat % , and went from being unable to jump to doing box jumps and jump rope again. And I reversed the trends taking me down an unhealthy road. I am now able to treat my disabilities with exercise and movement that puts me at my best fitness level in 8 years.More importantly I love my community at Fairfax Circle of fun and inspiring people. Going to my F45 at Fairfax Circle workout is indeed my favorite part of everyday. Truly Life Changing for me.”

“The results speak for themselves, but it's so good I still need to tell you about it. It's not cheap and we only did a month there with a Black Friday half-price special before we moved over to Alexandria, but the experience we had couldn't have been better. The coaches are so positive and motivating, as well as thorough in their pre workout demonstrations and make those small corrections in our movements that make all the difference in our results and the burnnn! They coaches have a built a solid community within the gym which can't be understated. The HIIT circuits are setup so nicely, flowing through about 10 different stations and leaving the whole body worked by the end of the class. These classes are pretty solid for building muscle but you're not going to get huge or insanely strong with this style of workout. This will be more for toning muscle/athletic build as well as gaining functionality and work capacity. It's nice that it's all based on time rather than numbers so everybody can go at their own pace. However, if you really want to push yourself as hard as possible, then I'd say this targets the heart and lungs more than anything, and health is what it's really all about. This is even true in the resistance classes, which you always leave with a serious pump. The weights you're using aren't as heavy as CrossFit which mostly allows for you to push yourself in a safer and higher paced manner and there's more variance in exercises and movements than Orange Theory without the concern of running injuries so while all of the big name HIIT enterprises have some advantages, I believe F45 is the best because it has the most well-rounded diverse stimulus mentally and physically and therefore has the most potentially for truly being "in-shape", healthy, functional, and athletic because you're more motivated to consistently train hard and allowed to do so while staying injury free.If I have to knock it I'd say that some of the exercises are more body building oriented (fly's and curls) than I'd like, but most are performance based. I will also admit, if this were my only training then I'd definitely like to have heavier weights on resistance days because those end up mostly being muscle endurance for me (which is more important than raw strength if I'm forced to choose). I'd also appreciate a little more sprinting but I know that greatly increases the injury risk so I understand the omission there. Also if there was more space, I would love to incorporate something more explosive like med ball throws. All in all though, considering the energy in there, the results you'll get from start to finish only sacrificing 45 minutes to make the rest of your day better, this place is great!”

“The Worx it’s not just a gym for me… it’s my happy place! I’ve always been so intimidated by lifting weights and now I love it! I am taking the semi-private sessions and I am stronger than ever! I am a mom of 2 kids under 4yo and the 11am class fits perfect with my schedule and our group is THE BEST! Every single class is different, more a more challenging and fun! I am really happy I found you all!”

“The reviews are spot on! Coaches? Amazing. Community? Legit. Supportive atmosphere? 100%. I am over 50 and trying to take my fitness seriously. I am so glad I found NDCF! The coaches and members are welcoming, supportive and helpful. My first class I had another member come up to me and give me some tips. No one prompted her, she just did it. The workouts are hard, but I have found I can do more than I thought with the coaches helping me. Looking forward to my future self.”

“I love the variety in the workouts, the fact that the coaches can support me in modifying the workout based on my physical limitations, and the fact that certain parts of the workout are controlled by me and my needs and abilities. OTF is exactly what I've always needed to be consistent and successful in my workout regimen - a class with a coach at set times during the day but the right mix of flexibility and challenge to allow me to find my pace and be successful.”

“When I came to Foundation Fitness it was the first time I had ever walked into a gym. The twice weekly sessions have been terrific. Ester is so very good at what she does. She is very focused on form and provides excellent feedback to be sure I am doing the exercises correctly and getting the most out of them. Ester is encouraging and positive and just a pleasant person to be around. There are never more than a few people training at any given time and everyone is very friendly. CJ (owner) is very responsive if you ever need anything. I am so grateful to have found this gym and to have been connected with Ester.”

“This was my first time at this F45 location, second time attending a Mont Blanc Monday workout. However, I really liked this studio much more than the first one I visited. I liked that there was alot of natural light coming in from the window. Upon walking in, I was greeted by the owner Scott who cracked lots of jokes about my 64oz water bottle (it's a huge bottle!) I was acquainted with the studio by Scott and he gave me the run down of membership at the end. Him and the instructor Jay were super great at motivating and modifying workouts and posture throughout the session. There seemed to be a great community here -- everyone was so nice! The place was also really clean and well maintained. Bring your own water bottle 64oz or not -- they have a water station. They also provide microfiber towels and disinfectant spray so you can clean as you go. Additionally parking is free in Alexandria on the weekdays except 4-7pm and F45 has their own dedicated parking space. I was on the fence about F45 but I think after this visit I'm going to join in their 45 day challenge starting 2/5/24! It's a sweaty, fun time here that really makes you feel in shape!”
