“I had a great experience at F45 Training Landmark. The workout was excellent and truly scalable for any ability level—from beginners just getting started to advanced athletes looking to push themselves.
The facility itself is well-designed with a very efficient layout, which makes the sessions flow smoothly and keeps the energy high. The trainers were knowledgeable, attentive, and always focused on proper form and safety, which I really appreciated.
What stood out most was the atmosphere—extremely positive, motivating, and supportive. It’s the kind of environment that makes you want to keep coming back.

“When I came to Foundation Fitness it was the first time I had ever walked into a gym. The twice weekly sessions have been terrific. Ester is so very good at what she does. She is very focused on form and provides excellent feedback to be sure I am doing the exercises correctly and getting the most out of them. Ester is encouraging and positive and just a pleasant person to be around. There are never more than a few people training at any given time and everyone is very friendly. CJ (owner) is very responsive if you ever need anything. I am so grateful to have found this gym and to have been connected with Ester.”

“While traveling, I had the pleasure of dropping into this OrangeTheory location for the 7:00 AM Saturday session—and it was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with kindness and professionalism, setting the tone for a great experience.
Coach John led the class with energy and precision. His motivation was contagious, and I especially appreciated his attentiveness on the weight floor—he made sure my form was solid, which elevated the entire workout.
I will definitely be returning whenever I am in town.
One friendly heads-up: the bakery next door is dangerously tempting. If you grew up in Europe or simply have a deep love for fresh bread, consider yourself warned—it is hard to walk past without indulging.”

“We have been having outstanding experience at My Gym! From the moment we walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff set a positive tone. The facility is clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with ample mats and equipment suitable for all skill levels.
The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about gymnastics. They provide personalized attention to each student, ensuring everyone feels supported and encouraged. I was especially impressed with how they foster a safe learning environment while maintaining enthusiasm and fun.

“There are lots of CrossFit Gyms in the Northern Virginia area. What makes Sand and Steel stand out above others is the coaching and care they provide to the members. They just don't throw you in to workouts and expect you to figure things out.Instead, Paul, Dawn, and the rest of the coaching staff take their time to make sure you scale appropriately. The coaches make sure you work on mobility and nutrition, along with your workout. In my case, I have had a series of prior injuries, and moreover, I had consistent cramping and dehydration problems during workouts. No matter what supplements I took or how much water I drank, I would get light-headed, and my muscles would cramp. In short, my body simply refused to hold water. For years, I thought there was something medically wrong with me.Paul recommended a great supplement as a pre-workout, and then the cramping was gone. Like Magic. Now, my conditioning, strength, and overall performance greatly improved.So, like I said before... coaching makes a huge difference. This gym comes highly recommended.”

“We met Lans Fofana almost six years ago when he was working with individuals at a day program for adults with severe disabilities. We quickly noticed the rapid improvement in his clients’ physical and mental states and soon hired him to train our 30 year-old daughter.Lans has worked five days a week with our daughter in one-on-one sessions for over five years. When the day program closed due to covid, he transitioned, with precautions, to our home. During that time of otherwise isolation, she consistently gained physical strength, improved balance, and enjoyed a healthy mental attitude.Lans’s extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology coupled with his motivational skills is what distinguishes him from an ordinary trainer. He takes a wholistic approach directed to the individual’s needs. The gym facilities is honestly all you need. If you are an Olympic style lifter I will say it does not meet your needs that and CrossFit.”

“Coaches are fine, most of them motivational. They don’t regularly clean the equipment or floors. No reason I should have clumps of hair around the bench or buildup of black grit on the rower straps being the first class in the morning. They keep changing their hours which isn’t convenient for anyone. Actively looking for other options. I do appreciate their constantly changing workouts, but that’s about it.”

“It's not bad for being part of the HOA. I think they should replace that weird angular sit-up thing with a hamstring glute developer. If they did that I would give it five stars. When a fitness center is that small they need to be more deliberate with what they offer that angular thing is supposed to do the same thing but just doesn't.”
“I really like coming here because the atmosphere is so relaxed and I never feel judged while I'm working out. The gym is always super clean, and they have tons of cardio machines and weights, so I never have to wait long to get my workout started. I love the purple and yellow colors everywhere—it makes the place feel bright and energetic. The staff is always friendly when I check in, and the locker rooms are well-maintained too. It’s a great, affordable spot to get moving without any of the pressure you find at fancier gyms.”
“I’ve been coming to MADabolic for several years and it meets my needs very well. I only average 1-2 classes per week (compared to the recommended 4) but I find each class to be grueling and worthwhile. The trainers are attentive to form and kind, both qualities I need! I have found the regimen effective at maintaining / building strength.”
