“I go here often. The staff are always polite and helpful. Only comment is that they desperately need to staff up customer service! Every time I do an online order it takes half an hour or more to pick up (not to prepare my order, to pick it up.)
Update 8/2026 -- went in the store tonight to get ground wire. It was locked up and it in literally took half an hour to get the attention of someone who could open the case. At the very least they need to have a clear way to request someone to unlock the cabinet. And the person who finally opened the case could have at least acknowledge my complaints about how long it took to find someone.
I'm going to check back in a week, on August 21. If there's not a sign or something telling me how to get someone to access the freaking wire , or if the method doesn't work, I will need to revise my rating drastically downward.”

“First time at Earl’s True Value. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Was looking for organic potting soil and they have a great variety you won’t see at Lowes or Home Depot. I was able to get organic ProMix, and organic BlackGold potting mix. Also got some organic mushroom compost based on a staff member’s recommendation. They also had a great selection of Coast of Maine and Fox Farm soils.”
