“Our whole team stayed here during Jeff Cup soccer tournament 2024. U10 boys can be a handful, but the staff was incredible. They were genuinely interested when they asked the boys how the tournament was going. The entire stay was easy and convenient to the locations we had for the tournament. Would stay here again.”

“I rented 2 rooms as I was traveling with my family for one night. The rooms were nice but neither hvac unit worked. I set the Temps but they never turned on. I checked on my kids n the am. The room was 75 not the 71 I set the t Stat for which was still set at 71.The soap dispenser n my shower was broken and the shampoo was empty. Guess what my kids shower had no shampoo or conditioner. Both showers were nasty like they haven't been cleaned n weeks. The towels were ragged and torn. I won't b staying n candlewood anymore”

“Needs some updating. Toilet kept running even after the maintenance man came to fix. The front desk people were very nice. Small hotel but decent and clean.Apparently someone at the free breakfast had an issue with my kids getting more than 1 Nutella but other than that breakfast was breakfast. The pool area was kinda cold and the pool water was colder. Kids still played as long as they could stand it. Overall grands had a decent hotel stay for their birthday. No problem getting clean towels or trash bags from staff.”

“Wow! This place was a magnificent gem. Service was outstanding and check in was a breeze. The rooms are very well appointed, clean, quiet, and comfortable. I chose to be on the 5th floor so seeing the rolling ground of the golf course and the pond just made it extra cozy on a foggy winter morning.Their breakfast buffet style at the Glenn restaurant is so tasty. The wait staff there is so attentive.Overall, great experience. This place is close enough if you want to get to downtown Richmond, but far enough away that you don't have to deal with lack of parking and filth of being in a city. There is a shopping center nearby for a quick run for late-night snacks or early morning coffee run. Come stay here when in Richmond!”
