“This is a great little store and the owner and staff are super friendly and helpful.I recently did a purge of old spices and took the bottles into the store to purchase fresh ones, for a FRACTION of what it would have cost in the grocery store. Plus you can buy what you need, since some spices you don’t go through very quickly. Their balsamic vinegar is awesome too!They also have great washable scrubbers for your dishes and great plastic saving storage items- I love the silicon caps to put on the open end of blocks of cheese. Genius! Good cleaning and other supplies as well. I always leave inspired to take extra steps to cut waste.Shout out for their onsite knife sharpening as well- reasonable prices to have your knives refreshed while you shop! It’s another vendor check the dates when they’re available.”

“We asked Raffi to design and build custom built-in bookshelves in our home office. He made important improvements to our draft design, including incorporating a desk within the bookshelves. He was receptive to specific requests we had for the project, including adding two file drawers and three toe-kick drawers. He communicated frequently to make sure we were on the same page about customization decisions. We had a tight timeline, and Raffi worked overtime to make sure the project was complete when we needed it. We are very pleased with the outcome; it has completely revamped our office!”

“This is our second time working with the team at Globe Bath & Kitchen and we couldn’t say better things about them. They first did our guest bathroom prior to the pandemic. Even before signing a contract we had renders and estimates in hand. The project turned out exactly to specs, on budget and time. The major renovation of our entire lower level - kitchen, floors, lighting, and fireplace refacing - was delayed by years due to our family’s schedules, but recently completed. We got the same team as in early 2020. The team was clean, fast, efficient, and treated our community with the utmost respect. Our neighbors noticed and went out of their way to let us know the team was quiet (as possible), clean and didn’t leave gates propped open. The project finished three weeks ahead of time, and about 2% over budget. We did move out to allow the team to work quickly, but still were pleasantly surprised at the outcome. We had been working with another designer and we had been struggling with the kitchen backsplash for months. Marianna saw our cabinets and floor choices and asked a few questions and produced 2 ideas and we chose one of the two! It was so easy and she is wonderful. “We were referred to Moogie by neighbors who were very happy with the remodeled bath she did recently. She consulted with us and asked all the right questions and is very pragmatic. Before we even started the design and permit process she wanted to check on the ventilation requirements for the powder room we wished to install. Unfortunately we could not meet DC building regulations in the space we wanted to use without this becoming a substantially bigger and more expensive project which would involve redoing our master bath as well. We are disappointed but grateful to Moogie for doing that research at the outset, saving us a lot of time and money. We would certainly go to Moogie again if we had a different project.”

We ended up doing our mud rom and a mini built in bar for our dining area. James works with you from beginning to end; he is willing to listen and talk though any doubts or new ideas and address changes that might occur through the designing process. The work was completed on a timely bases and we were regularly informed on the next steps of our project. His workers were always on time and would sometimes even come on the weekend. Lol (pun intended)This is a high-end, kitchen and bath store with the most gorgeous bathtubs and appliances in a glistening setting.The show room is absolutely stunning, and it was very quiet, except for the sales person, but they just opened and they're kind of off the beaten path. They are located in a little alley that connects one of many parking garages to the Mosaic District shopping center. Unless you were looking for them, you wouldn't necessarily see them and you would only pass by them if you parked in that specific garage.I was only window shopping, a.k.a. drooling like a kid in a candy store, lol, but if you're looking for some beautiful kitchen appliances and unique bathrooms & décor, then this would definitely be a place to check out.”
