“I recently had my full basement re-carpeted and I could not be happier. I went through Costco who contracts with Aladdin Carpet. I was contacted by John Tangonon who walked me through the process. He was prompt, courteous, and knew his products. I selected a carpet and he put the rest into action. The workers that handled the install, led by Ariv, were terrific. They got right to work, moved furniture, disassembled the bed, then put all back when finished. They were courteous, left the area spotless, and the carpet looks beautiful. The price was excellent too!”

From start to finish, George was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely professional and forthright with us about what needed to be done and what it would cost to do it right, explaining the pros and cons of different options, and offering helpful advice without being pushy or trying to run up the costs with additions we did not need. And whenever we had questions throughout the process, he was always available and quick to respond.

Once the renovation started, George worked with us to make sure we understood what was happening at each phase of the project. The Panorama team not only did great work but went out of their way to avoid disrupting things in rest of the house, which was important to us since our two teenagers were home in the afternoons while they were working. And the work was done on time, with minimal issues or complications.

But what truly made the experience of working with George and the Panorama team exceptional is the little ways that they went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with the finished product. From coming up with creative design solutions to make the space more aesthetically appealing, to replacing lighting fixtures in adjacent areas that were not part of the contract at no cost, to coming back after the job was technically finished to wall mount our new TV, they always went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the final result. And we definitely are.

The basement looks amazing, and nothing sums it up better than my daughter seeing it for the first time and saying “I can’t believe this is our house”. The next time we have a home renovation project, we will definitely be calling Panorama.”

“My Kitchen & Bath did a renovation for a neighbor who called it one of the easiest home projects on her long list. After considering several contractors, I chose My Kitchen for three bath remodels, and the overall experience was good with beautiful results. The design staff provided helpful and welcome guidance. For example, when I was eyeing a bright white cabinet, Nomi noted that my home was full of ivory and cream tones and recommended a champagne white that worked out perfectly. The work crews were amazing with such knowledge of their trades and attention to detail. The project manager Ata and crew manager Claudio were available when needed and their responsiveness and expertise were appreciated. I will happily refer others to My Kitchen. Attached are before and after photos for one bath, where the old low maple cabinet was replaced with champagne white and quartz, plus glossy Urbano Crema tiles up to the ceiling. In the second bath, an old tub was replaced with a walk in shower (now I just need to decide on a mirror!).”

It’s so nice to be able to get this stuff without the extra packaging and get exactly how much I need. Plus it has so many other amazing eco-friendly items! “We just had a fantastic experience doing a complete renovation of our kitchen with KBD. We were looking for a design and build firm where we could get design services, help choosing kitchen features, and a quality build under one roof. We found that and more at KBD. Ron, the owner was wonderful to work with. He gave us a great overview of the design process at KBD, showed us the many options we would have. He made sure we knew that he was available for questions or help. Ron worked at our pace, even when working through our design decisions pushed the construction start date back.
As we experienced, Ron has put together a wonderful team. Rick, who designed the layout of our kitchen, listened as we worked through what we were looking for and came up with several creative design options that made our small kitchen seem big with ample storage and lots of counterspace. Olga, the wonderful designer we worked with, helped us turn our vague ideas into a beautiful kitchen. With her artistic talent and expertise, she guided us through the process of choosing every feature in our kitchen. She was very patient with the time it took us to make decisions. We never felt rushed. Thanks to Olga everything goes together beautify.
Great materials will only look as good as the quality of the build. KBD excels in this aspect as well. Mark, the project manager made sure everything ran smoothly and saw potential problems before they happen and solved them. Mark came by throughout the build and was always available for questions.
Tony and Walter were the talented team that built our kitchen. The quality of their craftsmanship was excellent down to every detail. The demolition, cabinet build, flooring, painting and all of the many other details were done with the highest level of skill resulting in a beautiful kitchen. Mark did an excellent job on our glass tile. At the end of every work day, the whole area was perfectly clean. There are other people from KBD whose work went into giving us the beautiful results we are enjoying in our kitchen but I think this review would run too long to name them all.
In summary, everyone we delt with at KBD were nice people and excellent at what they do. Google only lets you give five stars or I would give more.”

“Didier Jean , DJ, is very knowledgeable and very helpful. My design task was difficult and he was able to create several viable options that were very nice options. He was attentive and patient, it took over an hour to finish the visit. The showroom is gorgeous with many modern, fresh ceramics, porcelains and marble. Do not hesitate to request DJ or visit this upscale showroom at Floor and Decor. Apparently there are only 4 in the United States and we are lucky to have one here in the DMV. I drove over from Georgetown- well worth it for this free design consult”

“Five stars! We cannot say enough great things about Manex Remodeling. This team did a wonderful job on multiple projects for us. Since this was our first time undertaking remodeling work, we were initially nervous about finding a reliable, competitively priced contractor, but Manex exceeded all our expectations.

Not only were they great to work with regarding our budget, but they are also simply good people. We truly enjoyed working with Tony, Ed, and their highly skilled team. We hired them for two bathroom remodels, a 4 season sunroom addition, and a deck—all of which turned out beautifully. “Shafa Babashova, the design coordinator at Bray and Scarff/Tysons is the most gifted, talented and amazing kitchen designer/coordinator! We had received design input from some other companies prior to meeting her. They typically were just replacing the cabinets and countertops. Shafa however was the one who presented a new layout that gave us more storage space, a more open/spacious feel and an architecturally gorgeous and interesting kitchen island. She is so pleasant, patient and attentive. She has a great software program and large screens that allow you to make changes/move things around and visualize what the design will look like. They have a lot of product options. Shafa also works to help lower costs whenever possible. She reached out to me to inform me of manufacturer sales for both the cabinets and the quartz. What's also great is that the kitchen design can be coordinated with the appliance selection. Once I purchased my appliances from Brian (who is the best!!), Shafa and I looked at all the finishes together to make sure that the pulls match the colors of the appliances. It is so nice having the appliance showroom right there!”

“- The shop is not very large, about the size of a single deep shophouse unit, with a parking area located in the courtyard directly in front.
- The interior features a wide variety of tiles displayed in different corners; in particular, I found some tile model here that I couldn't find at any other stores.
- On the day I visited (Jan 19, afternoon), there were 2-3 staff members available to answer questions immediately without having to wait in a queue.

- A female staff member named Colleen provided excellent service and assistance. I went to the shop looking for a specific tile and brought a sample with me. I consulted her, and she helped check the stock information. When it turned out the item was out of stock, she went further by recommending similar alternatives, walking me through various samples in the shop, and providing many useful tips. I would like to express my thanks to her again through this review.”
