“I have banked with Village Bank since it Merged with River City. We have multiple Accounts with Village Bank (Checking, Money Market, IRA & 2 Kids accounts). It’s easy to Transfer Money between the accounts and use the app to view all accounts. Anytime we have had any questions we have been pleased with the response. We love going to visit the Mechanicsville Branch and Amanda, Jenny, Carol & Leisa. Also, it's great seeing the employees out participating in Local events.”

I am a former Truist customer had a bad experience with them they closed my checking account for no reason. “I recently went into United Bank in Mechanicsville and the Branch Manager, Kaiyden Dunn, offered to assist me. Much to my surprise, that the bank manager would offer to help me, rather than tell me to wait for a teller. It was an extremely satisfying experience. He was able to assist me and offer suggestions that were very helpful. He is very knowledgeable, courteous, and service oriented. It is so nice to see that customers are still appreciated and customer service does still exist.”

“My husband and I had a phenomenal experience with farm credit! It all started when we got approved through Thomas Jefferson Soil and Water to do some much needed fencing and watering upgrades on our farm through grants. So we went on the search for a loan company that would have a decent monthly payment and decent interest rates as we new we would be paying on this loan for a few months while we completed our projects. Not only was Rachel Shupe at farm credit always so quick to answer all of our questions as a first time loaner for something like this but the monthly payments were so easy for us to budget for while we completed this project. Next time we need any improvements along with any other loan we will be going through them. I cannot say enough good things or thank them and Rachel enough for the whole experience!”
“I went in today and had quite a bit of coins to exchange. I just wanted to say that Lindsey, the manager was absolutely wonderful. We took quite a bit of time getting everything rounded up and believe me, I know a Friday is not the day to do this but I specifically took this day off to do some errands and this was one of them. She was cool calm and collected handling my request. I couldn’t be more thankful for her and her team accommodating my large request today. By the way the picture is only a minuscule amount of coins exchanged for cash. Awesome help gals!”

“This is the first time I have been in this branch. I called prior to coming in and I was told the bankers were busy so after waiting 6 min I hung up and came in. I waited 30 min in line to send a wire transfer, since they had 3 tellers. A new person, a business teller and a drive thru teller. When I was finally at the counter the young man said you have to see a banker, last time I sent a wire it was done by a teller. He said I can make you an appointment but I said I needed it done so I waited another 10 min. When I sat down I was a bit annoyed honestly, but I was helped by Vanessa Withers the branch Manager and she was SO above and beyond nice. Her smile and positivity was contagious, so I quickly stopped feeling annoyed. Then as if it could not get better, I was running late to get documents notarized because of the wait but she is a notary and notarized my documents!!!! This ultimately saved me time and money, and was WAY more convenient than driving across town. I will definitely continue to bank at her bank location for all my future banking and financial needs. I hope Wells Fargo knows they are very lucky to have her running this location, because you can tell she loves what she does.”

I know they have been short staffed, but each time these ladies are there waiting for me with a huge smile on their faces.
