“After having the worst possible experience ever with Enterprise and the customer service I was able to find some help after 4hours of traveling and calling… I went through 3 cars due to a vehicle maintenance issue JUSTIN BELL was so great and amazing! He helped move my luggage into the replacement/switch car. Even when I came back and said the Apple CarPlay didn’t work he and another team member tried to help connect my phone. In the end he just placed me in a car that had what I needed.. trust and believe the 5 starts is only because Justin was truly there when needed working to fulfill the complete customer expectations and SAFETY. If they had more people like him and his crew when I called the 800 number and other local branches my trip could’ve been much better! If you’re in the Richmond Va area or passing through and you need a rental or have issues with the one you have just give up calling 800 number head right to Justin.. ??♀️

“My insurance set me up with this location and I have to say, the overall experience was excellent. Ethan came and picked me up from the shop, found an excellent truck for me to use when my truck was being repaired, and was a professional and friendly person throughout the entirety of the process. The truck was clean, drove well, and looked great. Ethan clearly explained my rental, the car, and how my insurance was going to handle it. “Disappointed that all of the rental cars in Richmond Virginia were overbooked due to a couple of sports tournaments in town. But this particular location has always been helpful to us in the past. And it was no different this time, Chris especially was very helpful and set us up in a pick up truck within an hour or so of our original reservation. “I am genuinely surprised to see this place with a less than 4/5 overall rating. The location is a bit hard to find because the Budget sign isn't on the building and it just looks like a gas station, but I have never had such good customer service from a rental company. Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. We were even given a discount after realizing we booked too small of a moving truck. They upgraded us two sizes and didn't charge us for the upgrade. I highly recommend these guys.”

“Horrible! Horrible! Don't do it! I've been renting here for years. It is always the same. Service is snail pace slow. Long lines. Not enough staff. Staff seems indifferent. Been waiting an hour already. Longer to fly from Atlanta to Richmond than to get my reserved car from Payless. 6 people ahead of me. 7 behind. We all look frustrated. Also, cars are not the best. One car was not clean. Don't sabotage yourself. I implore you. Rent from somewhere else. You get what you pay for, hence the name is appropriate.”

“Easy process. I took off a star because I had to wait in the cold for 20+ minutes after opening for someone to get there, but once she arrived it was very quick. I’d rent a car there again”
“So i would give them a five star because for the most part the staff is amazing!! The issue is doing uber rentals. Uber is the actual culprit because they don’t handle things the way they need to be handled. If there’s no cars available for rental stop letting people schedule pickups. Uber knows exactly how many cars each location has available. Uber doesn’t handle paperwork or the information in the system properly. I’ve had quite a few issues but it was all waiting on uber to update, input, apply for,etc. The collaboration of uber with Avis was a good idea however the actual process of it was not and has not been thoroughly planned. So if you’re thinking about doing a uber rental i would say don’t until uber gets their stuff together.”

“Our flight was delayed four times and we didn't even up getting in until 1:30am but the incredible man behind the counter was standing by to make sure everyone got their rentals. I actually rented through a different company (they were closed ?) and he still stuck around to help me. He gave me some good advice on editing my previous reservation. The absolute definition of going above and beyond!”

“While it looks from the other reviews that the RIC Airport location needs a total overhaul (terrible wait lines & dirty vehicles that are in need of maintenance), I want to give kudos to one of your employees. Yes, we waited in line for 2 hours on 10/20, but their system was down and they had to manually process rentals, so I give them some grace. However, for 2 hours there was only 1 person at the counter (we were 8th in line). He managed his patience very well and I’m sorry I didn’t get his name. Our original rentee didn’t feel well so we had to cancel that reservation and book a new one under my name. This was handled by “Gregory”, and he was the absolute best in taking care of us. In a few minutes, he found us a fairly new mini-van (4,500 miles) with a great rate. Again, the RIC location needs some work, but you need more associates like “Gregory” who made this trip very enjoyable!”
