Yesterday July 31st 2024 I visited Patriot Auto Sales located in Norfolk VA. I had been financing a vechile for almost two years. I needed something more spacious so I contacted Jason. He reassured me that something that will fit me would be available once I’m ready. I must say , he was correct! I was afraid that my insurance payment would be a bit beyond my budget. “We reserved a car for 2 days and requested full size, got a Chrysler 300, very nice. However, in this time of COVID we expected that this car would be cleaner than renters in the past. That wasn't the case. Halfway through the trip since we were headed into the sun we had to stop and purchase Windex cleaning wipes to get the windshield clean. It took like 6 of the wipes. The car was so filthy on the outside that you could see our finger prints across the back of the trunk. We have local drive through car washes for $4 for gosh sake. Then during the clean up for us to turn in we found other items from the previous renters - no contact door opener, hand sanitizer etc. Well by then, we had spent two days in this car and feel that we were put at an unnecessary risk. Remember, this is the time of COVID, take a minute and get the car ready. I don't expect this too much to ask.”

“Counter agent Ardellia did a great job. Our flight (along with MANY others) was diverted to ORF due to t-storms in the DC area. Another car company failed to honor our car reservation so we walked up to Avis. The airport was total chaos. The agents kept it together despite the endless line of rudeness and stress being thrown their way by other customers. Ardellia made a difficult situation manageable and I appreciated the competency.”
