We were not excited to be “sold” on a countertop like a used car, but here they were happy to just talk about what we wanted and give us the options they had. Casual conversations led us to the perfect counters for our space. Such a simple measurement and install, all the staff were friendly and easy to work with.”

I’ve been visiting the ReStore at Chesterfield Towne Center consistently for the past few weeks, and every single time, I’ve been warmly greeted by Michael. Whether it's a cheerful “Where have you been?” or “I haven’t seen you in a while,” his friendly and familiar energy makes walking through those doors such a joy. Even when I was just there the week before, he still made me feel like a valued guest.
Michael creates such a positive and inviting atmosphere—it truly transforms the shopping experience. As a realtor, I often look for creative giveaway items, and during one visit, I spotted some beautiful bottles that would be perfect. When I mentioned this to Michael, he didn’t hesitate. He said, “We’ve got a few more in the back,” and came out with not just a few, but eight boxes! When I asked if there were more, he smiled and said, “I got you,” and came back with the rest. Thanks to him, I was able to purchase them all—and left with a cart full of treasures and a heart full of gratitude.
Michael also remembered that I love gardening (how sweet) and kindly reminded me that the potato slips had arrived. I was so excited I practically ran to get them! His thoughtfulness and attentiveness go above and beyond.
I honestly don’t know what I’d do if Michael wasn’t at the ReStore. He is the heart of that location—kind, gracious, and always ready to help. He makes every visit worthwhile, and his presence is a true gift to the community. Thank you, Michael, for always going the extra mile (just for me :) I know for everyone who enters the store!”
“Come to this location several times and they’ve always had the material that I’ve needed for my projects either on site or been able to order them with really decent delivery times. Of course there are many Lowe’s that you can go to, but this location in particular always has what I’m looking for in stock and it’s my favorite location to go to.”

He then found stock across the river. We went there and purchased 3 packages! He went above and beyond.”
“When I first started shopping at this store I did not have a good impression. Customer service was lacking. I made sure when I shopped I knew what I wanted got it and left. Didn’t ask any questions . Sometimes I needed to return items but would not because of the customer service. But lately it seems to be changing. The floor associates are helpful, they ask if you need help and they take their time with you. I want to give a shout out to Robert in plumbing!!! I have been in the store on two occasions and he has been more than helpful and very friendly.”
“Hello. We had hoped to speak to a manager in person but all were in a meeting, so we hope they read this. We wanted to give special thanks to two team members. First, Stanislaus went above and beyond in finding a product for us that we couldn’t find. He looked on several shelves and on his phone and at first didn't find any. He asked us to wait a second and came back and told us that he found a couple and ran to the back to get them for us. Second, Lolita assisted us at the checkout since I didn't have my Lowes card and looked up my account so I could use the card. She was so very friendly with a great smile. “I was passing through VA and a bearing went out on my trailer. I went to the Tractor Supply Store in Chester, VA and not only did I find the needed parts (with help), but the cashier (Joey) called her husband... who was off work already ... who is a master mechanic... and he came and put me all back together, even using parts from his own Supply in his truck. And.... he wouldn't take ANY MONEY for his help or his parts!!! Angels in Virginia for sure. What a blessing.”
