“If you need an honest mechanic in town, you need to call Mr. Kweleme. My vehicle wasn't feeling the same after it was serviced. I had it looked at by three different mechanics in Richmond area. All gave me a list of things that needs replaced. Each one's list was different things to be replaced. None of their suggestions sounded right to me. After looking on Yelp I found Mr. Kweleme. Mr. Kweleme replaced two of my vehicle's spark plugs and changed the engine oil and it fixed the issue. I also asked his opinion on the other things mentioned by the previous mechanics, and except one thing, everything else that was told by other mechanics was not necessary. Mr. Kweleme confirmed those parts are in good condition and explained why he thinks they need no replacement. I think Mr. Kweleme is also charges resonably. Thank you Mr. Kweleme!”
“I had a really good experience with Mike and wanted to take a moment to share it.
My 2018 BMW 320i needed a Virginia safety inspection, and after calling several places, I was fortunate enough to get connected with Mike. My inspection had expired, and he was able to get me in when I was having difficulty finding somewhere that could take my car. I truly appreciated that.
Once they inspected my BMW, they found an issue with the front suspension that I honestly didn’t realize was there. They showed me pictures of what they found, explained what needed to be repaired, and took the time to answer my questions. I was actually surprised when I saw the pictures because my car looks so good that I couldn’t believe I was looking at my own car underneath!
What I appreciated most was how comfortable Mike made me feel. When you’re taking your car somewhere for repairs—especially a car you really love—you want to feel like you’re being treated honestly and respectfully. Mike was professional, personable, patient, and never made me feel like I was being rushed or pressured.
I also noticed a difference in the way my BMW felt after the repair, which gave me even more confidence that addressing the issue was the right decision.
I am very grateful that Mike was able to get me in, identify the problem, explain it clearly, and get my BMW taken care of. I appreciate his attitude and the way he treated me throughout the process.

“I meant to leave this review six months ago. Over the last 6/7 years I have had COTTMAN’s do many repairs on multiple vehicles for both my personal and my company vehicles. I’ve always been happy with their work and their prices are very good. I want to describe my experience on two repairs where the repairs didn’t go as planned
1. They rebuilt a transmission on my Ford expedition. A few months later unfortunately the rebuilt transmission started slipping. They honored their warranty and rebuilt the transmission again. Didn’t charge me a penny.The truck runs great
2. They replaced the rack and pinion steering on my GMC envoy. The new rack and pinion was defective from the manufacturer. They redid the work. Again didn’t charge me a penny. The truck drives great
