This is the only shop that will actually follow the Alfa Romeo process of adding 5Qts of Mobil1, starting engine for 2 mins, shutdown and wait 2 more minutes to then check the Oil Guage before adding the final ~0.2 - 0.5Qts to Full.
This prevents overfilling the turbo engine.

“I needed a new Muffler. So I decided to scan what shops were around me and Roy Hendrick's was open and had availability. So Yes, I could have called a dozen shops and gotten different prices but sometimes we can do this in an hour is the best answer. So 1 new basic muffler and no pipes needed.
I can hear the difference but maybe that is because the muffler isn't busted. So nice work guys and maybe I will shop again.”

Chris is an absolute ease to work with: from my initial phone call to the shop to my car drop off, down to my car pickup. I went in for a mere inspection and while I was hoping for great news—only the inspection fee—your girl knew better than that and, despite being brought back to reality, working with AGA/Chris & staff still turned out to be wonderful experience provided it wound up not being as expensive as I’d anticipated. In other words, their services are very affordable and did not knock me over the head in labor costs! Oh! And when I noticed a double charge for my windshield wipers (simple mishap), Chris was very approachable and eager to get it corrected immediately!
Y’all, I came in that man shop with THREE different payment methods and he accommodated me readily, with a smile on his face for all of them! Did I mention their technicians worked super fast??? (only 2 day wait given the upcoming holiday season).
Not to mention, so far I’ve seen zero issues with what was done. I even noticed my headlight covers got a little scrub-a-dub-dub along with their bulb replacements! Furthermore, Chris was very patient with me in communicating with him surrounding the pick-up of my vehicle and even topped off my back tire which had a slow leak before sending me on my wayward son!!
I don’t know, man. Maybe it’s a generational thing, maybe it’s Maybeline but as a millennial, I do not get this kind of customer service anymore and it is BEYOND refreshing! I will absolutely be recommending any and everyone to AGA and not just for inspections but errrthang!!! Great job Chris and fam. Y’all have literally made my year!”

I just like too late all the ladies out there no if you’re alone and a single female, older or younger, these gentlemen are awesome people. They did all the work on my car and I was totally shocked at how low the price was, If you need honest people working on your cars or trucks then you definitely wanna go to Halls auto To be honest with you all, I was treated like family and made to feel extremely comfortable with them!

“I've been taking my 2005 Toyota to Ironwood Automotive in Scott's Addition most of this year for oil changes, brakes, and other maintenance. Every visit was easy, no pressure, no surprises on the bill.
Recently the car started overheating and I brought it in not knowing what to expect. Turns out it traced back to some radiator work they'd done a few months prior. A fan that hadn't been reconnected properly. Before I even had to ask, Michael G. told me straight up what they found, took full responsibility, and said there'd be no charge for the diagnostic or anything else. Didn't make it weird, didn't try to bury it. Just handled it.
That's not something you forget. Most places would've found a way to make that your problem. These guys didn't blink.
The whole shop runs that way. They explain what's actually going on, they're upfront about what can wait and what can't, and you never feel like you're being worked over. Clean space too, which sounds minor until you've sat in enough grimy waiting rooms.
If you drive a Honda, Toyota, or really any Japanese car and want a shop in Richmond you can actually come back to without dreading it, this is it.”
