“The staff are this location is REALLY friendly and helpful. Typically, when the weather is nice, I go to the Sunday Bethesda Farmer's Market first and then walk 5 minutes to The Organic Butcher. Weekends, of course, are busier, but the wait is never long, and it's nice to look at all the specialty products.
If you're into hot sauce, they make in-house a really nice fermented hot sauce - follow them on social media so you know when the next batch drops.”
“So this is my first ever Trader Joe's experience this year. ? All thanks to my UMD classmates. This is the only location I've been to. There is validated parking, the store looks clean, sometimes a little crowded, but it's at College Park so I'm not surprised. These kids need to eat. The prices are fair. The variety of foods is what I love. Lots of International type foods such as a variety of Asian delicacies. Their frozen food definitely surprised me. The ones I picked were amazing. Being a Grad student, working full-time, having a internship, full-time parent of a teenager, yes all of this is why Trader Joe's have gotten 1 more new customer. ? Made my life a little easier in times of chaos. The wings and the Thai red curry are my favs so far.”
“We chanced upon this store while visiting someone in the area. It was Sunday just before lunch but this store was hopping busy. We were lucky to find a parking spot because there were a number of cars coming into the lot. It is a small store compared to the ones in Houston but it is every bit as good. They had a large variety of items. We were looking for flowers and a small cake. They had a good selection of fresh flowers. We were looking for a small cake for someone’s birthday. They didn’t have any so we bought a Banana Walnut bread which was yummy according to the recipient. This was a quick stop for us but it gave us a good glimpse of the store. We interacted with a couple of employees who were very helpful and cordial.”
“Trader Joe's is my favorite grocery store. Its staff are always available to help you find what you are looking for, and none of the food items it sells contain high fructose corn syrup. The store stocks many unique foods that are easy to heat up and enjoy.”

“The customer service here rocks!! Everyone is so attentive, helpful and knowledgeable - it's like they live and breathe Mom's mission, which doesn't happen often in a grocery store chain. Their product is always stocked, and organized. I never leave without anything I needed. 5 stars for Mom's on NY Ave!”
“Great, clean, well-stocked store for Turkish/Balkan foods. Nice collection of good brands with better prices than Yekta. The owner, Mino, is very helpful and does not hesitate to give an honest opinion of his merchandise if you don’t know which brand to buy.”
“Looking for tofutti ice cream. They just had tofutti cream cheese. Then at the demo station they had watermelon mozzarella ugh. They did have police looking weirded out”
“This Whole Foods upholds its reputation of being clean, with great produce, and friendly service. Plenty of parking in the garage. Some products I don't see at other Whole Foods locations is a plus.
Still some things I didn't find. I was looking for Injera chips, fresh spearmint, and a bunch of beets. None of this was available which was disappointing since I usually pick those items up at the Riverdale, MD location. Nonetheless, I found everything else and enjoyed my trip overall.”
“I rarely get to shop here, but it's so good to pick up my usual faves and a few specialties. The wine department is getting back up to pre-pandemic selections.

“I only come here once in a while since they’re overpriced. People here are really helpful and friendly though really slow. They have stuff like vegan milk, vegan cheese, vegan ice cream, and vegan burgers. They have some interesting stuff like vegan fish or shrimp although I never tried them since they are quite expensive.”

“They kicked my friend and I out for taking to long but he was tryna buy groceries and I was not about to spend all of my money in an expensive market. Other than the "Hold Up" the store was pretty nice. A variety selection of snacks and they take EBT”

“The market is incredible. It’s been incredibly difficult to find Asian grocery stores in DC. This is not only one of the best grocery stores I’ve been to, but it is so well curated. There was a beautiful selection of tableware. Amazing staff with a great diverse knowledge of the products. The gentleman at the cash register was particularly helpful. I hope Rice Market continues its incredible business.”
“My wife of 15 years being from Thailand needs products from her region sometimes not necessarily from Thailand. We have been customers for years after Thai Market closed in downtown Silver Spring. Always friendly and generally have the spices and condiments she likes to maintain.”

“Fort Myer has the best Comissary I have been to so far in my career. It's overall very well stocked and maintained, especially the produce section which is much better than others in the area.”
“The jumbo shrimp $8.99/lb deal is such a treat! And the shell-on is great, because you can make a court bullion shell stock and poach them in it, like I did. A dab of spicy cocktail sauce ?Delicious. The Jailbreak IPA deal made it perfect”
“Always great customer service. They consistently have a good stock of new and popular products. Never had to worry about lower grade or fake vapes coming here, like other shops around here.”
“A lot of selections of dishes every Sat. Great food. Fun and friendly place. Owner is very nice and helpful. She has connections, so she can make some calls and, mostly, get what you want in a matter of day. I wish they had dishes more than just Sat. Go early, thought, these dishes go fast. They have good food vendors / cooks. No worries if you buy a lot of stuff, they will help carry to your car.”
“I'm a personal chef. I am literally in my neighborhood, Trader Joes, every day that I have a client. I'm even there on days when I don't have a client. The people that work there go beyond just being good employees. They are great people. The prices and product selections are amazing. I could move into the store and never leave. Lol”

“A Bangladeshi grocery. A Bengali myself ( coming from Kolkata, India) was excited to find many niche products, which is difficult to find in usual Indian groceries. However, did not find anything significant- other than various fishes, meat, and frozen food to try. I got some Bengali style sweets ( gurer Sandesh) and they were really good. You can find some fresh vegetables too. However, it’s worth visiting only for good quality meat and typical Bengali fresh water fishes. Don’t expect any great shopping experience, as their space is small and crammed, and quite smelly ( I guess coming from large amount of meat business)!”
“Fantastic food, the flavors had something that added a tanginess, which I haven't tasted at the restaurants in Silver Spring. Highly recommend and for me, worth a drive from MD!”
