He's especially great with thick-coated dogs like Labrador/Golden mixes. Mufasa absolutely adores him and is always excited to see him, which says it all. I'm so glad we found Charlie and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a groomer who truly cares about the dogs he works with!

The staff is kind and knowledgeable. One staff member helped us troubleshoot problems with our fish tank. They carry toys and foods all sorts of pets, even exotic, and they are our go-to for bunny food.

My cocker spaniel desperately needed trimming around the ears and paws after rainy weather. The groomer listened carefully when I mentioned his allergies and avoided heavily scented products. When I picked him up, he looked cleaner than he had in months and didn’t have that stressed-out look he usually gets after grooming appointments. The waiting area was a bit crowded, but the service itself was solid.

Participate heavily with dog and cat rescue so deal with animals in need of care on a regular basis. Once I found them 22 years ago, have gone there ever since.

Tysons Corner Animal Hospital
8496 Tyco Road, ViennaFriendly and knowledgeable staff. On our initial visit, our cats were made to feel at ease right away. Sadly, at a later time, one of our cats was diagnosed with cancer. The compassion, care and final moments with our 11-year-old cat were beyond anything we had experienced with any veterinarian (and staff) in the past. I cannot recommend Tysons Corner Animal Hospital and Dr. Clifton and his assistant, Bobby, enough.

140 Park Street, ViennaMy (fur)baby needed knee surgery (TPLO). This practice was recommended by my primary care vet. Dr. Johnson did a great job. I hope not to need their services again, but would definitely come back. It’s obvious that the Drs and staff really care about their patients. I’m sure there are great surgeons other places too, however it seems like a lot of the veterinary care in the area is owned by venture capital and driven by revenue rather than patient care, but I didn’t get that sense here at all. Would give 10 stars of if I could.

She treated our beloved Chico with such genuine empathy, kindness, and respect. Her communication was open, clear, and heartfelt, and we felt truly heard and supported throughout the entire process—something we hadn’t experienced with our primary veterinarian.
The consultation report she provided was incredibly thorough and thoughtfully written, reflecting the time and care she puts into her work. Most importantly, we never felt like just another appointment on the schedule—we felt seen, understood, and cared for. I highly recommend this practice.

Finding a place that truly understands large working breeds can be challenging, but James and his staff have done an amazing job. We have noticed a massive, positive difference in our puppy’s behavior, confidence, and manners.
We love the care that Dog University provides so much that we recently started sending our 9 year old cocker spaniel here for daycare. It is a testament to how adaptable and attentive they are to dogs of all sizes, ages and temperaments.
What we appreciate most is their communication. Every time we have a question about our dog’s progress or need advice on consistent training techniques to use at home, James takes the time to answer us thoroughly and patiently.
The staff is absolutely wonderful—warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in the well-being of the dogs in their care. Our puppy gets so excited every time we pull up, which tells us everything we need to know. Thank you all for taking such great care of our boy and our “senior” citizen.

Our go-to combination always includes the Chow Fun, either the Mei Fun or Singapore Noodles, and a classic Fried Rice, alongside one specialty dish and today, we opted for the Green Bean Chicken. Everything arrived piping hot, freshly made, and perfectly seasoned. The team is always so wonderfully warm and welcoming whenever my husband step in for pick-up. If you’re looking for high-quality, comforting Chinese takeout, Chan's Kitchen is an absolute must :)

1500 Cornerside Blvd Ste. C, ViennaInsane service and immaculately accurate to japanese food. Used to live in yakota air base and for a small time outside. Gave a shot with T H E most basic dish that any authentic japanese restaurant with this can’t mess up, a gyudon beef bowl.
Tastes exactly like when i was a kid. This is as authentic as flavor profiling goes. Between the pickled ginger and scallions, to the perfectly cooked semi sticky rice… this is as close as it gets while being affordable. Emptied the bowl and drink completely, that how tasty everything last bit was.
If you’re a fan of spice, ask the waiters for the homemade spice and powdered condiments, they have a small tray they can leave at your table.
The matcha ice tea, is delightful and smooth.
Definitely coming back, the sakes/ drink menu look enticing and the ramen bowls too, I’m positive everything thing else must taste exactly like it does back when residing in japan.

Finally got to try this place as they continue to expand around the area. We arrived in the late morning/early afternoon and there were still a decent amount of people inside, as well as coming and going. They have seating indoor which is limited, and they have several tables outside.
FOOD:
~Ice americano (3.5/5): solid. On the lighter side for our preference.
~Pastrami Sun City (4.5/5): This sandwich was really good! Complex and non-muddy flavors.
~Jetski (3/5): Personal preference. It had good flavors, but it felt a little one-note for us in terms of texture.
~Pretzel bagel (2.5/5) with garlic and herb cream cheese (4/5): The pretzel bagel was a little too soft/not toasted enough for me. The flavor was okay. The cream cheese was PACKED with flavor though.
Overall, will definitely hit this spot up again.
