Horners Corner Pet Salon
370 Maple Ave W STE 3, ViennaKelli and her staff always do an EXCELLENT job with my puppy! She is always quick and prompt, and he always comes back from grooming happy and looking like a million bucks. Since this is my first puppy, she's always happy to help with guidance and tips. We have used her for about 6 months now and have never had an issue. The only downside is since she does such a fantastic job she is often booked out for months, so make sure you get your appointment scheduled ASAP!

Pet Care

Vienna Animal Hospital
531 Maple Ave W, ViennaThe best. Quality of pet care and staff is excellent. The staff goes out of their way to make animals comfortable. Tell friends my pets chose this place. Participate heavily with dog and cat rescue so deal with animals in need of care on a regular basis. Once I found them 22 years ago, have gone there ever since.

Hope Advanced Veterinary Center
140 Park St, ViennaHad my 13 cat Mollie at the Hope clinic for ultrasound evaluation today. Unfortunately, they found through ultrasound Mollie has cancer and is terminal. Dr Sholes took care of her and she was outstanding. She was very kind and compassionate handling this delicate situation. The staff was excellent showing kindness and empathy for my difficult situation. If your animal needs emergency care this is the best clinic in the area as far as I am concerned. Thank you Dr. Sholes and all of the staff. You are the best!

Animal Dental Clinic
410 Maple Ave W STE 1, ViennaDr. Melinda Spaar was truly wonderful. From the moment we met her, it was clear how deeply she cares—not just about her patients, but about the families who love them. She treated our beloved Chico with such genuine empathy, kindness, and respect. Her communication was open, clear, and heartfelt, and we felt truly heard and supported throughout the entire process—something we hadn’t experienced with our primary veterinarian.
The consultation report she provided was incredibly thorough and thoughtfully written, reflecting the time and care she puts into her work. Most importantly, we never felt like just another appointment on the schedule—we felt seen, understood, and cared for. I highly recommend this practice.

Vienna Leash
726 Hunter Ct SW, ViennaI’ve been a client of Charlie and Vienna leash since 2020 and can go to work feeling like my picky little rescue dog is loved and happy. My walker Nikki (and previously Christina) make sure I get a note daily and Blair is loving the attention and snuggles. If they can handle my pup, they can make any dog’s day.

Dog University
1203 Downey Dr, ViennaDog University has all your dog boarding needs. They are the friendliest dog boarders I've ever worked with. Not only do they board dogs but they also have excellent training for dogs that are young pups or just need to learn some obedience. I have utilized the boarding an dog training only because I'm always busy at work an haven't had a lot of time to work with my dog Aries. He definitely has enjoyed his training an has come back a different dog than before, I would say for the better an I'm going to continue using them an recommending them to all my friends for all their pups needs.

Bing Bing’s Dumpling
155b Maple Ave W, ViennaThe place is soooo cute with all the panda decorations. The food is good and made fresh, but I was disappointed by having my dumplings served on a paper plate, and my cucumber salad in a plastic container. Dumplings felt a little heavy for my preference. The person working here was very nice and helpful.
I feel like they are missing out a huge opportunity with their food presentation to make it a full panda experience. I liked it and would probably come here if I lived nearby, but wouldn’t go out of my way to come here to eat.
Panda dumplings: 10.98
Fried rice chicken: 12.98
Cucumber salad: 6.98

132 Branch Rd SE, ViennaWe stumbled upon Chef Tan by complete chance and it has quickly become a family favorite. The food is absolutely amazing, but what really sets them apart is the service. The lady who takes our orders is incredibly kind and welcoming. I love her.
Most importantly, they are so accommodating with their flavor, they always adjust the spice levels for my husband and kids who prefer milder dishes. It’s rare to find an authentic spot that is this flexible, clean and family friendly

Vienna Simply Social Coffee
260 Cedar Ln SE, ViennaDecent coffee, but the vibe was ruined by the service. I stepped away for a moment, and my partner told me the staff was quite cold and unfriendly during the interaction. For a place named 'Simply Social,' the service didn't feel very social or warm. The coffee itself was average. With so many coffee options in Vienna, good service is what brings people back, and this place missed the mark today

The Sandwich Shop
132 Church St NW, ViennaGot the vegetarian banh mi, which i got veganized by removing the mayo. It's a nice substantial sandwich and very tasty. Just wish there were more vegan dishes on the menu. Seating is very limited though and it was not all that comfortable. As a vienna notary i drive through the area a lot and try to find quick places to stop at.

Roberto's Ristorante Italiano
144 Church St NW, ViennaI was looking for a birthday dinner restaurant that was not in a parking hostage area. I remembered Roberto's from some positive reviews. I had several meals at Galileo restaurant in the 1980's. I followed Roberto Donna's career ups and downs over the years but never doubted that he is a master of the Italian kitchen. Even when he got punished on Iron Chef, I thought only that Italian cuisine is not about throwing protein into oil with some spice. The dinner exceeded my high expectations. The bread basket had warm herbed bread, crispy bread sticks, and popover type muffins that were crisp and airy. The lobster and crab salad and mushroom tart were delicious. They had a bottle of Barbaresco that was under $100 and quite good, no wine punishment. The entrees were served hot (one of my Italian mother's requirements) and they were all excellent, especially the Branzino that is filleted on request and done masterfully. We had an early seating next to another birthday party so it was fun to listen in to an alternate dining experience. The sommelier let them try multiple wines and patiently recommended wines that they enjoyed. I told my server I had a great Barbaresco that I bought in a gas station in Italy, I'm not a wine snob. The service and food are impeccable. I read the reviews, positive and negative, I don't think the staff at this restaurant would let you leave with a bad experience. An anecdote, a banker friend of mine asked me in the 1980's for a restaurant recommendation. I recommended the Galileo Ill Laboratorio. He took an international group of bankers to dinner. He was on the train back to NYC and overheard his guests discussing the meal. They said it was the best Italian food they had ever had out of Italy. This is what you should expect!

Bear Branch Tavern
133 Maple Ave E, ViennaSuch a pleasant experience going in good weather and sitting on the back patio! It was super busy so the food was a bit slow but well worth the wait! We got calamari, shrimp salad with crab cake, and a buttermilk chicken burger. Went for our 1 year anniversary and it didn’t disappoint, will definitely be going back again!

Japomen Vienna
2676 Avenir Pl J, ViennaI went here with my sisters and found the place empty. I was confused as to why, as I later found the food to be great! I had ordered the halal chicken ramen and added spice. It was warm, yummy and the chicken was seasoned amazingly. I ordered the edamame, and for 6.50 I expected a little more than what I got. I enjoyed the self serve water dispenser. I am giving a 4 - star review because my sister had ordered separately (she got the same thing) and her broth was very bland. As someone who does not have halal options near them, this was great!

Caboose Brewing Company & Tavern
520 Mill St NE, ViennaHidden just off the trail, Caboose Brewing Company & Tavern is one of those spots you’re happy to stumble upon.
Tucked away near the W&OD trail, it feels like a little hidden gem where bikers, walkers, and locals all seem to gather. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and it’s the perfect stop after a ride or just for a laid-back afternoon with friends.
Caboose Brewing Co. +1
The space has a cool industrial-meets-neighborhood-hangout vibe with indoor seating and a great patio area. It’s also very pet-friendly outside, which adds to the community feel.
Caboose Brewing Co. +1
The beer selection is solid, the food menu goes way beyond typical brewery snacks, and everything pairs perfectly with the relaxed setting. Service was friendly and the overall experience felt easygoing and local.
If you’re walking or biking the trail—or just looking for a tucked-away brewery with good food, good beer, and good vibes—this is definitely a spot worth stopping at.
