I was very nervous to bring her somewhere new but Amelia and the team were very reassuring and great with Willow. Not only were they able to do her ears, nails, teeth, and bath with no problem but Willow was clearly happy and no stressed when I picked her up. We will be back!

They always groom them exactly the way I ask them to and the results are always super cute and very consistent. I also like the fact that they text me as soon as they're done so I can run over and pick them up instead of leaving them there all afternoon. I'd highly recommend Pet Star to anyone in search of an excellent dog groomer.

4001 Legato Rd, FairfaxWhen my cat suddenly started losing hair, throwing up, and stopped eating, I was panicking and convinced I was about to lose her. Dr. Adesso made time for us on short notice when I was extremely worried.
Fast forward to now: my cat is alive, eating, her hair has grown back, and she is back to her regular old self. Dr. Adesso truly turned things around and got her back to being herself again.
I will forever be grateful. If your pet is sick, scared, or acting weird, this is exactly who you want caring for them. I would trust her with my cat, my dog, and probably my emotional wellbeing too. 10/10. Would recommend to anyone who loves their pet like a child.

Alpha Animal Hospital

About three years ago, my eldest cat passed, and the team at AAH held our hands the entire way through the process. From explaining treatment options to being there when we finally had to say goodbye. They even sent a handwritten condolence card after, which meant so much to us.
Over the past year, one of our cats has a strange allergy on his belly. The doctor has personally followed up at least three times to check in on him, see if he's showing improvement, etc. While that would obviously be the hope for any medical concern, I've never actually had a vet personally call and email to make sure their patient is doing well. It really shows how much they truly care about their animals.
It makes a difference when you can tell the team genuinely loves what they do and the patients they have. We are so thankful to have a vet and team as caring as the AAH staff.
Also enjoy these cute pictures of our cats who are all healthy and thriving because they have such a good doctor to take care of them ☺️

Unfortunately my dogs story ended sadly and he had more going on than she was capable of treating, which resulted in me putting him down. However I will happily recommend this location to everyone. Kim's Urban Hounds- Dog Walking & Pet Sitting

Our situation was a little unique in that they were able to partner with some of my family who stayed with him to make sure that he had the medical care he needed. They were very flexible and accommodating to what worked best for us.
Our elderly dog Carson has mobility issues and struggles to stand on his own, but I received word that he stood up by himself once when Brandon arrived for his daily walk! That was great evidence that Carson really felt comfortable with Brandon, and was happy to see him.
Kim’s Urban Hounds has an app that was very convenient. It provided us with one place for our conversations, scheduling calendar, payment info, etc. They also sent daily reports with how his visits went so I knew how his days were going. This gave me peace of mind. If I had a question or concern, Kim or another member of her staff would return my message promptly. I would not hesitate to employ their services again, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing dog sitting or dog walking services.

We were struggling with our dog’s extreme anxiety and reactivity which caused her to bark, growl and jump at strangers. Tom understood our dog’s personality and tailored the training perfectly. He taught us how to handle her and she is so much happier and content. We also were so pleased with Jenn who helped our dog with increasing her confidence and decreasing anxiety.

I was initially a bit hesitant because we came on a quiet weekday and there weren’t many people, but we were quickly greeted by the kindest staff and sat on their beautiful patio that’s surrounded by Thai chili peppers, basil, and mint plants! The food came out quickly and it was delicious and fresh. We had the dried tofu, drunken noodles, and pad gra prow dishes and loved each one. AND we got a cute little surprise for their restaurant anniversary!! Loved this place and cannot wait to come back!

Too bad they only have food trucks (and not an in house restaurant), but at least you can bring your own food. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating and a calendar of events (live music, trivia, etc).

The volunteers were so helpful with all our 'newbie' questions and helped us feel ready to bring home a duo. The kittens are doing great and we couldn't be happier. We are so incredibly in love with them already and it's just been two days. Highly recommend this shelter!
