“I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here with the staff. For example, on Friday evening I submitted a service request for my sink thinking they will get to it on Monday. About 30 minutes after I submitted the request, Michael called me from home to get information and to set up a time to come fix it. We discussed it and he said he would come by around 10:00 the following morning. He was punctual and not only fixed the sink, he corrected a problem with the hot and cold settings we weren't aware of. Michael was very friendly and professional and kept us well informed throughout the process. And, contrary to what one whiner wrote below, we were never once asked to submit a 5-star review. This review is 100% self-initiated.
The front office staff has always been friendly and professional as well. We have never had anything but positive interactions and patience from them when dealing with my dumb questions. I have lived in 6 or 7 apartment complexes and can honestly say Camden has been the best one by far.
As for the one-star reviewers... well, I promised my wife to keep this positive, but you probably know what you can do with your silly reviews.”

“The staff at The Clarendon is a true family-oriented team. There’s nothing like coming home after a long day at work and being received with a warm welcome every day when I walk through the lobby. I think it’s worth mentioning that while I don’t own any pets, its amusing and fun to watch other resident’s dogs go crazy for the concierges as if they’re reuniting with a long lost friend. It always brightens up my day!
Kudos to the whole team for always going the extra mile for my family, my guests and myself, but especially Shaukat and Grover whom I interact with nearly every single day.

“We ultimately did not rent here because we bought a home instead, but our experience with the agents at West Broad could not have been better. They were kind, knowledgeable, patient with our questions, flexible with our reservation, and truly a pleasure to interact with. The building also seemed great and extremely well run - we were almost sad we didn't end up needing to rent! I highly recommend this building and any building with the same management company (Bozzuto).”

“I have been staying here for the last 7 months and have become very friendly with the staff. Myra is very sweet and always has a smile on her face. I love that they are painting walls and cleaning carpets so the place stays looking nice.They also keep the place smell great. You would never know that there are many pets in the building from how great it smells and look.”

“The front desk staff is great and the building is fine.
The primary reason for rating 4 stars is Equity tried to raise my rent almost $400 after my lease ended. I was able to convince them to lower it a bit but the increase was still outrageous and I see available units listed on their site with the same floor plan as mine listed for less. They are price gouging me because they know I already live here and don’t want to move out which is a shameful money-grabbing tactic. There have been no changes since I moved in that warrant a rent increase anywhere near this large.
Edited review from 3 to 4 stars as a previous maintenance issue turned out to be a misunderstanding that was rectified quickly upon submitting a second request. The maintenance team has always been great, but I had initially thought the ownership was dropping the ball on replacing my hot water tank. It turned out it just wasn’t turned on correctly.”

“I’ve lived here for two years and I’ll probably sign for a third. It’s a nice quiet place to live, mostly older folks and some families. The pool is large and never crowded and the outdoor terrace was just beautifully redone. Parking is cheap and always available. The concierge and maintenance staff are all lovely and responsive.”

“Brandi was an exceptionally helpful leasing agent for us — and helped my partner and I get into a great unit very quickly. She wasn’t only welcoming and fun to work with, but also went over and beyond to help us get our ducks in a row and get the new place we needed. There was a lot of detail to get through quickly and she made that process simple and intuitive (and fast!). She’s also just clearly a wonderful person. We are super glad we found her and would highly recommend anyone looking in the area to check out the building — and find time to do a tour with her!”

“I lived at the Reserve at Clarendon for 3 years and the only reason I am moving is because I moved into an house for more space. I loved my time there and was always so pleased with management and maintenance, always very attentive and nice. Definitely recommend, and location is hard to beat!”
“I have lived in a couple of apartments in my life and this is by far the best one I have lived in. Apartments are very spacious, amenities are amazing, parking (spacing of it) could be better but it’s life lol (it’s just how it was designed), location to Bethesda is great, and so much more.
Anyways, the reason you need to live in Topaz House is because of the staff. The hardest working employees and the most down to earth human beings work here and will make sure that you feel welcomed and that there are no issues whatsoever. Shoutout to Marissa, Kerstin, Michelle, Ernie, the whole maintenance staff, the whole front desk staff, and literally every employee here. I feel as if this place is my home and I treat the staff like friends and family. They’ve done a fantastic job and I look forward to staying at Topaz House for a while.”

“I highly recommend checking out VY Reston Heights. Great location. Dinning located below and a Gold's Gym. The elevator to Gold's is currently down causing Gold's members to take up residential parking but its nice to see management has been trying to enforce towing for non-residents to ensure there is ample parking for the us until its resolved. The building is secured and the amenities are great. I would love to see a concierge added to assist with food/package delivery though.”

I moved into Exo on 8/21 and have loved every minute of it. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming. The concierge staff, especially Hassan are so awesome. I have yet to see any of the negative things that people have been complaining about. The building lobby smells amazing too. It is usually the first thing my friends notice when they come visit me. I have had no issue with my deliveries going missing. The maintenance crew is very much on top of things whenever you put a claim in. As stated earlier, no complaints yet!
I truly love coming home each night to my apartment in the sky.

Almost 2 months into my lease at Exo and I still love my choice to move here. The management company seems to put up with a lot of entitled people that come at them, and they handle everything very professionally. They are a good team!”

“I have lived here for 5 months. I did have issues with my AC upon move in and the maintenance team informed me to request a AC strainer cleaning every 3-4 weeks as there is a lot of sediment build up within their supply lines. Taking their advice, my AC unit runs great.
Elementary school is amazing!!! Whole foods, movies, chipotle, and many restaurants at The Boro is a 7 min walk. There is a outdoor lounge area hosted by the neighboring art gallery where a lot of residents hang out or the kiddos ride their bikes.
I have never had issues with parking, the elevators work fine, the grounds are kept clean, the maintenance team responded within 24 hours, and the front office staff is amazing. Shootout to Jeflan.
I have noticed people cars towed for parking incorrectly. Hot water is not the hottest during peak hours, but that is to be expected when a whole building is using water around the same time. One of the parking garage doors is broken every month because residents are not patient and rams the gate.
I have noticed the concierge ignoring food deliveries, however the property does have a sign posted for all to see stating that residents will need to provide food delivery drivers with an access code.
My only complaint is that the building does not have a designated dog park. While there are areas around the property for dogs to relieve themselves, dog owners do a poor job of picking up after their pups when poop bags are widely accessible at the FIVE doggy bag stands. I now have designated dog walking shoes in case I happen to step in poop during my pups late night relief walk.”
