“I've been dropping off my Amazon returns here for forever (and have never had anything but top-notch service), but my recent experience with using their printing service was INCREDIBLE. Ryan was very patient, answering all of my questions and providing helpful suggestions. I sent the PDFs to him, who reached out with me to confirm pricing before proceeding - in the end, his feedback resulted in a really beautiful program and seating chart at a better price than Staples or FedEx. In other words, I highly recommend The UPS Store on all counts, but especially for their terrific customer service modelled by Ryan.”
“I have to give this store 5-stars because everyone has been nothing short of exceptional! While the prices are a bit high, that’s to be expected for an on-campus service. I used summer storage both years as an undergrad and always received outstanding service—my boxes were delivered straight to my room, and any questions I had were answered promptly and helpfully. In addition, the staff—especially Dan—has always been incredibly helpful, whether it was guiding me through printing materials or assisting with returning Amazon items. “When I first visited this location, I walked away disappointed—and I wasn’t alone. The experience felt frustrating from start to finish: the staff seemed overwhelmed and disengaged, wait times were excessive even during off-peak hours, and the overall workflow felt chaotic and inefficient. Compared to other UPS stores I’ve used—where service is typically fast, courteous, and well-organized—this one stood out for all the wrong reasons.
Customer service at the time felt like an afterthought. There was little sense of urgency, and communication with customers was minimal. It didn’t inspire confidence, especially if you were relying on them for time-sensitive shipping or business logistics.
That said, I believe in giving credit when it’s due. On more recent visits, I’ve seen a clear and noticeable improvement. The staff now appears better trained and more attentive, the process at the counter moves more efficiently, and the energy of the store feels more professional. It’s a much smoother experience overall.
Whatever changes they’ve made - better staffing, or simply taking customer feedback seriously - it’s working. The store is now functioning at a level I’d expect from a UPS location, and it’s reassuring to see that kind of progress.
While my initial review reflected the problems at the time, I’m pleased to update it now to acknowledge the positive direction they’ve taken.”

“Don't be fooled by the young employee's ! This location offers actual empathy and support when it feel's like things are going sideways ! We no longer will go to Fedex for our printing needs as the employee's here have been much more ethical and supportive when we've had varying requests. They also ALWAYS have a notary on hand which is priceless. Give them a try !”
“The young Asian man who did the visa photos for us was kindly asked which country and the size requirements, then quickly took the photos, then carefully trim the photos into the correct size, and emailed both of us. Although more expensive than CVS, $20/per person. The store is very small and full of packages all over the place.”
“I’ve never had a problem. I drop off UPS packages all the time and have never had a problem getting a receipt. I think some of the negative reviews come from people not understanding the difference between a UPS drop off and UPS access point. You can purchase a UPS label at Parcel Place and they will accept UPS drop offs if you already have the Amazon return shipping label printed.They cannot scan your Amazon return bar code and print the label for you. You need to go to an actual UPS store or UPS access point for that service (you can do that at AutoZone right down the street OR the UPS store in Bradlick shopping center).Additionally, with regards to the review about discrimination against Caucasians, I have never experienced anything like that. The owner has always been nice to me and I’m white. However, I always go out of my way to treat service people (waiters/bartenders/retail sales associates) with the respect they deserve, so I usually get excellent customer service in return.”

“I’ve been going here for 3 years returning Amazon packages that I have repackaged in original packing, new packaging, or that only require the scan of a QR code (no box). At times these have been very frequent returns.
Early on, when I brought a box in that wasn’t fully packaged, the woman at the store told me that next time they’d have to reject it or charge for packaging in-store. She wasn’t rude and it’s certainly reasonable that she, as a business owner, doesn’t need to consistently defray my costs.
I happily use this UPS regularly.”
“I have maintained many different UPS boxes throughout my life as I’ve moved around the U.S., but I have enjoyed an EXCEPTIONALLY SUPER experience with the UPS Store in Yorktowne Plaza in Falls Church, VA! Even though the store is normally pretty busy, employees there ALWAYS greet me with a smile when I arrive, and the staff all competently offer service. It’s obvious that employees at this location actually CARE about their customers--increasingly rare today(!) Just this week, Ashton had the presence-of-mind to actually come-out from behind the counter in order to help me carry packages to my car so that I wouldn’t have to make multiple trips back-and-forth. Ashton certainly demonstrates the type of competence and customer attention that is characteristic of the staff at Yorktowne Plaza UPS Store. KUDOS to Yorktowne Plaza UPS for having smart and caring staff like Ashton!”
“The level of customer service I received today while in your Route 29 store was unparalleled. Matty was amazing both at helping me mail my package while simultaneously helping other customers and the UPS delivery man.
Mine was a challenging task, to be sure, as it’s not everyday someone sends a large box to Kyrgyzstan. Matty was patient, personable, resourceful, and thorough in doing his best to help insure my package reaches my daughter, who is living in a more rural area while serving in the Peace Corps.

“What a great local business! We brought a 200 year old painting which was passed down in our family for 5 generations to this store to prepare for travel ( we will be carrying it to Seattle with our luggage.) Bertram carefully assessed it and picked out the best carton and materials, you can tell that the painting is securely nestled inside with no wiggle room, so I'm confident it will make the trip easily. Highly recommend this business!”
