“T.J. Maxx doesn't have the selection for guys that they used to. It's saving grace is the very good prices they have. I came in for a belt, and they had about 20 belts left. I was lucky that one of the ones I wanted was a good size. I picked up some cheap cologne. I should probably shop for clothes here more often. The cashier was kind of a dunce. The other cashier seemed like she was on it though, pleasant and skillful.”

The staff very politely directed me to the aprons and my daughter picked out the one she thought was the prettiest. My wife loved the gift and my daughter loved picking it out. Beware, when you walk in you’re going to want to grab a bunch of home decor type items you don’t actually need ?”

“I've come to this location at various times during the day and this Ross is consistently clean and organized. Items are easy to find and they're well stocked with many items. I'm always finding a good deal here and leaving with more things than I came for. The customer service is also decent though I felt the last time I went the cashier was a little curt. Other than that I love this location and wish it was so much closer. It's 30 minutes from where I live but it's worth the drive as in my opinion this is the best Ross in VA Beach.”

They have delivered items my wife and I, had purchased from the Joint Base Little Creek Navy Exchange furniture store on six different occasions over a two-year time frame, they off-loaded several large boxes, on each delivery, and put items where I requested, and each time they went above and beyond the scope of their normal delivery. Kelvin and Jessie had contacted me ahead of time, and said they were on their way and would be arriving at my home in thirty minutes, they arrived on time as stated. They got right to work and being mindful of keeping our home clean, their customer service is bar none, the best I’ve encountered in quite a while, with their positive and can-do attitude Jessie and Kelvin made sure to put the needs of the customer first.Starting from initial contact, their introduction, delivery, and performing the job as promised, performed a full inventory of what they delivered to ensure there were no issues. After assembling the furniture they made sure to remove all packing materials and boxes from the premises, They delivered a beautiful product and left as though they were never there. BUT, in exiting this Target’s parking lot, a man drew a weapon out of his black Ford F250 window because the traffic leaving onto Donna Drive likely was not moving fast enough (SUN 27 NOV 2023 - 2pm). I tried calling a store after I left and got home, but nobody answered the phone when I asked for the Store Director to alert them of this issue. I waited on hold for 30 minutes! I guess you don’t take people’s lives very seriously in your parking lot and their vehicle safety as well! No security - no sales!”

The only thing I had negative to say was it was quite difficult to find someone to ring us up. Other than that, it was a great experience. This location is on Virginia Beach Blvd and Independence Blvd, and a few blocks from the 264 freeway.Although I didn't go inside the actual store, I did place orders on my Target app so that I can pick up my orders through Drive Up. I purchased items I didn't want (or wouldn't have been able) to pack into my luggage, such as liquid hand soap for my hotel bathroom, bottled waters for my hotel fridge, a small cooler to put in my rental so I can keep drinks cooled, and other items.Note: If using the Target app, this location shows up as "Pembroke".Overall, I found things I needed during my stay, the value for the products I found were great, the merchandise was ready within 2 hours, and the people who worked at Drive Up were wonderful! Oh, and it was conveniently located near the hotel I stayed at!”

“I've been coming to this particular (657 Phoenix Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23452) Wal-Mart for a little over a year. The thing that makes shopping at this location pleasant is an employee by the name of Josh (wish I knew his last name). Every time I see him...he has a smile on his face. He speaks to everyone and he is so helpful. I was shopping in the store recently and saw him. I had to tell him how great he is at his job and how much I appreciate his kindness. It's something you don't normally find in employees at Walmart. Most will not make eye contact or speak to you. Josh...stay the way you are...I appreciate you.”

“This target is alright! Nothing special inside, but I've always been really impressed with their pickup order employees that work for the drive up. They really are on it, and I've never had an issue in all my years and many drive up orders I've placed. Inside, selection is as good as any target, it's clean, but it can be a bit disorganized at times. Overall it's a great location, made even better by their drive up order staff!”
