I was nervous to leave them since two of them get bad anxiety when they’re in an unfamiliar place but to my suprise, they all did really well. I’ll definitely be taking my babies here again. It’s a drive for me but it’s worth it.

367 W Shirley Ave, WarrentonI was in search of someone to hand strip my Dandie Dinmont Terrier. This is a rare breed that most groomers are unfamiliar with. Leslie was so excited to meet my Chauncey. Though she was familiar with the breed she had never groomed one and immediatly did the necessary research to groom him to his breed standard. Not only has she done an incredible job with my dog, she has educated me as well on the art of proper hand stripping. My little guy has never looked better and even more gratifying, he LOVES going to the groomer! What more could a Mama want! I highly recommend Leslie and her assistant Zander at Aspirations Pet Services. Oh, and I drive an hour to get there…more than worth it!

From Karen's first call about a little 1 year old shih tzu that needed a new home back in 2009, to Dr Trout's creative and steadfast care over most of his long life, to Dr Clark's excellent care and sound advice even on his very last day. And to all the staff who held him, spoke sweetly in his ear, calmed his fears and took the very best care of him we could have ever asked for....thank you! You are all part of our family and we'll never forget how you loved our Wally too. He stayed with us for 16 1/2 years thanks to the unmatched care at NBAH and we salute you all with our gratitude and love.

Like many people, our dogs are family and as we moved from our house and prepared for the move, we wanted our dogs to get the best care. We came to Paws Awhile having used them before and were astonished at our well our pets thrived. Because we had sold our house, we had to hold the dogs somewhere as we arranged flights etc. An additional complication was arranging pet transportation that ensured their comfort. The staff at Paws Awhile helped inform our pets transportation choice and worked with all involved to make it the smoothest it could be.
My only regret is the fact we will no longer be able to utilize their services. This is the place you can most trust will treat your pets well. Thank you all

One of our cats is afraid of everything and doesn't come out for almost anyone that doesn't live in our home. Except for Connie. He's even let her pet him, which is a miracle. She's been very good to our sweet boys, and they love her.The one time we had an issue with the service from someone else who was sent in place of Connie, the business owner responded quickly to our concerns and assured us that the person wouldn't be sent back to our home, as we requested.Overall, this has been a great business to work with, and we feel that our fur babies are safe and cared for when we're away. Definitely recommend hiring them if you need pet care.

The Fancy Nana Stout is absolutely delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed every drop. The only thing that would make it better would be more food choices.
It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town, which is part of it's charm. I highly recommend stopping by for a beer!

Vint Hill Craft Winery
7150 Lineweaver Rd, WarrentonStop #3 on the birthday staycation wine tour was Vint Hill. Before coming I reached out to confirm they were open today due to the holidays. I received a phone call from a super nice staff member Ashley who confirmed they were open.
I arrived shortly after they opened. I was greeted immediately upon entering and was guided to the station to decide on my wine flight. The winery is located in a house like structure. It is quaint and nicely decorated.
I chose my 3 wines for my flight and proceeded upstairs to enjoy in their seating area. It is much warmer upstairs and comfy. I was the only one there.
They do not have a kitchen on-site but have lots of options for snacks while visiting. Upstairs also has a full tasting bar. There are also some nearby areas that serve food that you can bring inside.
The 2 highlights for me was the music selection! During my visit smooth jazz and blues could be enjoyed in the background which just added to the vibe of the place. And one of the owners is also an MSU alumni Go Green!

Great Harvest Bread Co.
108 Main St, WarrentonWe used to come here often, but haven't been in about 5 years. So, when in the area recently I stopped in for a loaf of multi-grain sandwich bread (they make the loafs and slice or leave them whole, I got the sliced bread). I also got a couple small tubs of chicken salad to make sandwiches with. Since they have such good treats, I tried a piece of their apple bread pudding and ended up getting a slice of that, which was amazing! Lastly, I got their pumpkin chocolate chip bread, that too was amazing!
I really like this place, it's a solid choice for baked goods. I like Red Truck a lot, but feel that ever since they became one of the top bakeries in the country and their prices went up to match this status (and they also got added to Gold Belly), I don't feel the quality matched the fame. Whereas Great Harvest is just solid and affordable.
