“My first time here was very pleasant. I’ve lived in Bham for 4 years and always passed by this place. I was curious if they sold a specific drink and they do for a few bucks cheaper than the Shell on E Holly St. I know where I’ll be coming for my drinks from now on?The only thing I don’t like is that there isn’t bike racks outside. My u-lock couldn’t fit around most of the trees so I had to park a bit down the street.”
“I have been going here for years because the family is so nice! Now it is incredibly convenient being between my work and home - but it has been near different jobs I have had for several years. They are always nice and always have a treat waiting for my dog even if he is not with me. I find it a little bit unfair that some people are giving low star reviews as a result of the homeless people that they may run into during a visit. That is everywhere downtown at this point, and has nothing to do with the owners of this business. They are great people and the store has what you would expect/need from a convenience store. Definitely a family/business to support!”
“I love the market and deli! I frequent the market for last minute ingredients (even meat), fresh produce, ice cream, and lunch regularly! Saves me 30 minutes of driving round trip to Whole Foods and they have ample organic options. Highly recommend the chipotle turkey bacon club or chicken strips to go when I’m short on time working nearby at REMAX.”
“There's some reviews about price gouging from like six years ago but they aren't accurate for the moment. A bag of flamin hot Cheetos and a Mexican coke are pretty much the same price as if you bought them from Haggen; if that's any indicator.
Initially I avoided this place since it looks a bit cramped from the outside, and while it is a bit tight, you can generally get around without hassle so long as there's not a lot of people.
Once I walked in though it was a pretty positive experience; cashiers are pretty nice, seem to be having fun working at the place. The atmosphere is that of a small market akin to the ones at WWU but without the overwhelming sense that no one wants to be there.
Overall, if you're within walking distance and craving a snack or drink then by all means give it a shot; you'll likely have a pleasant experience, pay a reasonable price, and save a lot of time you would've spent going to somewhere further away.”

“This is hands down one of the nicest gas stations around! The beer selection is amazing, way better than your average stop, and the shelves are always well stocked and organized. The owner is incredibly friendly and clearly takes pride in the place. The lot is spotless, and the flowers and landscaping give it such great curb appeal. It’s the kind of place you actually enjoy stopping at — highly recommend!”

“Great store, friendly staff and good selection of basically everything a vape shop would have. Been going there for a while now and would continue unless if I decide to move. Convenient because it’s next to my house too. I do wish some prices on hydroxy kratom (higher quantity ones) were cheaper, especially for unknown brands. I understand the logic behind but just because it’s more doesn’t always mean it’s on par with something or better, even if milligrams are higher.”
“The owners/staff are consistent, helpful, and really kind if you get to chatting with them. N State St has gotten kinda rough over the last two years, but these lovey people have been a light in the dark for me and my spouse.”
“Owner is incredibly kind. My car broke down in front of his gas station and he was nothing but concerned for my safety. They allowed me to stay there for over 4 hours, and made sure we had help on the way. Even allowed us use of their restroom with no complaints. I was incredibly touched by their kindness and obvious care for other people.”

“Fairly priced items for a convenience store, it is literally convenient. All the staff I’ve ever interacted with there (over the course of 5 or so years) have been great. The main evening guy is a hoot no matter what mood he is in, but generally it’s pretty pleasant. I enjoy his stories witty repute. For its size it definitely has a great “random” selection. I would check it out if you’re in the area some time, helps that it’s right next to the recreational store as well.”
“Neighborhood Market on Harris is exactly what this area needed! The cashiers are always friendly and make you feel welcome, the selection covers everything you’d want from a neighborhood store, and — I have to say it — the bathroom is genuinely outstanding. Clean, well-stocked, no complaints. It’s the little things that show a place takes pride in what they do. Glad to have this spot in the neighborhood!”

“THE ONLY place open through the night. Sometimes they randomly put a note on the door out of nowhere saying they'll be back in 2 hours so that can be annoying when you need gas, are on a time limit and risked making a further trip to get to them hoping to be able to get gas and it ruined my night.”

Employees don't always give me the discount like advertised and say it must be old pricing but they eventually give me the correct pricing I just have to purchase separately because I buy 4 per visit. Kinda a pain to have to make a account with there rewards program but well worth the trip. Has prices are good as well”

“The best! Lovely market that has a great packaged beer and wine selection, lots of varieties of baked goods, and a basic grocery offering. Sells flowers and seedlings and other seasonal or tourist items. We love to come here once a week for their amazing wood fired pizza and a couple of draft beers. Can seat about 20.”
