They let me know of another issue with my engine and showed me some photos.They quoted the additional repairs and I really appreciated that they weren't trying to push me to get it done. I'll come back for the repairs when the time is right. For now I'll just recommend them if you need a good mechanic”

“Got into a minor accident last week where it took off my front grill. Had another body shop look at the damage, said it would cost me around 3-4k to fix. I thought that was absurd because another place said it was just the grill that came off and nothing inside was damaged. Went here and the worker that helped me (did not catch his name) was so kind and understanding. Only charged me 350 to fix the bumper and put in the grill, even fixed the scratches. Definitely am going back here to get an oil change in the future as well since he only charges 75 while the usual place I go to charges around 130-160. Super cheap and understanding made the process fast and easy. Thank you so much for fixing my car. Definitely will recommend this place to others.”

“Maestro Auto did a thoughtful and thorough post-purchase inspection on my 2018 PIU and properly flushed the cooling system which had oil residue lingering from an owner induced DIY disaster.

“Look no further for a trustworthy mechanic. Richard is great, easy to talk to, and has always done right by me. He takes the time to explain things so non-car savvy people can understand. He'll let you know if a pricey repair can be put off until later, and he'll tell you how to know when it's time to get it fixed. My car's old and needs some pricey repairs now and then but I feel secure knowing it's in good hands here. I'll happily be a customer for life.”
“Despite me giving the wrong size tires when I set the appt, they were still able to get the correct size delivered and installed same day. I was in and out with new tires in about 2 hours. My car rides great & now I'm comfortable knowing my family is safe.

“I've been going to Burien Japanese Auto to have my cars serviced for at least the last 20 years. I have always had nothing but good experiences there. The mechanics are top-notch. I've had all of my oil changes and 30k maintenance done. Fortunately, my cars have been reliable and I think a battery replacement is about all of the other work needed. The father of Tanner, current manager, and Dan staffed the service desk for many years. I never heard them nor Tanner and other current employees give a customer a line of bs concerning the work that needed to be done on their vehicle. These guys have always been totally honest with their customers. Recently I was there to have an oil change done on my 2019 Subaru Forester. It still has the oem Falken tires which even though they have low mileage, they are 6 1/2 years old and also have a terrible reputation among those who comment on an online Forester owners forum. I asked Tanner if it was about time to replace them due to their age and he thought it would be a good idea. He recommended Michelin tires of which I'd had a set on a 2000 Honda Accord and for many years they have been highly recommended by Consumer Reports magazine. Coincidentally, Costco has a discount coupon now and this morning online I purchased a set of Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires. Many thanks to Tanner and current staff as well as his father, Dan and previous mechanics for all of their honest and high quality service over many years. I could not recommend their shop more highly.”
“This place is an asset to the community. It is old school but in the case of vehicle alignment that is a good thing. Jerry has been at it for 43 years and it shows. This place may not have the fancy waiting room, but that’s not what I care about. I want an accurate alignment and a car that drives great. This place delivers that. It’s also worth mentioning that if you have a sports car or a modified vehicle that has maybe a little bit more adjustment range than average and/or the car is lowered, then you have found your alignment shop. These guys know what they’re doing. Reasonable pricing too. I will be back. Thank you guys!”

“Mark has done excellent work each and every time I've dropped my truck off at his shop. Unfortunately for me, I've had a number of repair jobs recently, big and small, and Mark and his team are the ones that I have trusted to work on all of them. Mark is extremely meticulous and always prioritizes doing a job correctly, even if that job is perhaps frustrating. Further, Mark always helps me understand what the problem is before starting on any work. As a woman, it can be hard to find a mechanic that is willing to clearly explain what needs to be fixed and why, though I always feel as if Mark has always been fully honest with me so I can make an informed decision. All in all, Mark is incredibly reasonable, professional, and clearly has a lot of experience. I'd recommend his services to anyone, hands down.”

“I love this man and his wife! Such a nice couple, he comes off a bit stern at times, but you can tell he has your best interest at heart. He's willing to go the extra mile for his customers as I brought my car in for an oil change and he unknowingly had to deal with a stripped drain plug which would greatly extend the time it usually takes to complete an oil change. He still did whatever it took to fix the problem, and he did. I'm so glad I found this little shop!”

“Nam was a referral from another mechanic shop. I happened to have been in Burien and called Nam and he said to bring it in. Asked if I needed a loaner car. All I had to do was have my ID and insurance card and fill the gas upon return.
It was an extra five minutes and so EASY! I would have had to find a ride or call an Uber. This is the additional touch I wish other mechanics had.”
