“This is a great place to get workout gear; in my case, yoga clothing and small weights. The clothing is a fraction of the cost of any other place that sells like gear. The staff are all nice , knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend checking them out.”
“Tukwila has a huge warehouse and just about anything you could want. Pleasant employees. I came from out of state to pick up a piece of equipment. There were some hiccups along the way. The owner Scott went above and beyond to make things right. He has integrity and professionalism where many business owners do not. I can see why he's still in business after 40 years. I cannot recommend his company enough.”
“We love our local running store! We bought a pair of running shoes for my 14 year old son that after a few runs unfortunately gave him blisters. We brought the shoes back looking for advice on how to heal the blister. Both the sales associate (Isaac) and owner (Lori) took time to try and figure out why the shoes had given my son blisters. After examing the shoes and asking my son questions, it was determined that he was getting a new pair of shoes. I really appreciated the time, patience and kindness Lori and Isaac put into talking to my son and fitting him for new shoes.”
“I had to order the shoes I wanted when I went to a different road runner store b/c the color I wanted was not in the store. I was informed by email that what I ordered was not in stock. I went today (to a this location) and got a comparable shoe and Hanna fixed my new insoles that were cut wrong at the other location. She also saved me about $45 that kept me under my budget. The woman was fantastic and had the best customer service! Now I hope this time I receive the shoes I ordered! Hanna made this experience top notch!”
“By far the best customer experience I’ve had anywhere in Seattle. I didn’t catch the name of the girl who helped me, but she was fantastic: friendly, professional, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. I also went up the street to check out the Patagonia store (the brand I normally buy) and the customer service level there was polar opposite so I immediately came back here to buy a jacket.”
“It's always a treat to go into a shop and rockstar service. As a beginner/intermediate player, I don't really know a ton about the sport. The sales associate (I believe he owns the shop) took the time to explain everything and show me my options. He even me some pointers!!! Overall a great experience will definitely go back!”
“First hand experience here guys! PHENOMENAL WORK! I will never go anywhere else to get my clubs repaired. Steve is amazing! one text away and steve responds to me as quickly as he can. Haven’t met the rest of the team there. But Thank you guys for always producing quality work.”
“I have been here several times and the employees are always friendly and helpful. As with any outlet, the inventory is hit or miss for what I am looking for. But I have gotten some great deals on a few items that I could not afford to pay full price for.”
“Fantastic experience at this sports shop! My husband picked up three hats (one for me), a t-shirt, and two sweatshirts (one for me), and we couldn’t be happier with the purchases. The staff provided excellent customer service—friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My new sweatshirt is incredibly cozy and has already become a favorite! We’ll definitely be back for more. Highly recommend!”
“Eight Diving is an incredibly well-dressed dive shop; Melissa and the rest of the staff are fantastic, and the customer service is top-notch.I purchased a lot of new gear to prepare for my GUE Fundamentals class, and they were so supportive and helpful. I cannot thank Eight Diving enough for their encouragement throughout the process.”
“Emissaries of Embroidery, Legends of Lettering, Pharaohs of Fan Gear, Michaelangelo of Monograms... This is an excellent family owned and run business. Trust them with your duds.”
“Very fast customer service. Quality Perfetta bocce balls. Product shipped very fast to my house. Highly recommend. ( I took the balls out of the shipping package before taking the photo.)”
“helpful and informative lady working there. lots of martial arts supplies, glassware, lion's heads, and chinese slippers. worth stopping in and looking around”
“The clothes and shoes I've bought here are really high quality. Expensive? Not if you value quality and modern style. Recommend Northwest to the max.John Hoag, Esq.”
“Had a great experience and purchased cross country touring boots for a crazy deal! The salesperson was super informative and took the time to thoroughly answer my questions too, thanks!”
“What a find! The sun finally came out and I dusted off my inflatable paddle-board only to realize my pump had the wrong adapter. I called Wiley’s, they answered within seconds and confirmed that they had all the paddle-board accessories I needed. I was greeted instantly with a warm welcome and helped to find the pump I was looking for. I drive by here everyday on my way to work and from the outside I thought they only sold boats, man was I wrong! This place had everything you could imagine you’d ever want or need to get out on the water. Huge selection of various items and everyone was so helpful! It’s been two days and I’m already considering going back and upgrading my gear in person because it was so refreshing to actually talk to someone about what I needed vs attempting to buy online. Thanks for helping me get back out on the water!”
“Mariners Opening Weekend stopped in for a hat and jersey. Great selection and friendly staff. Hats are on sale too! Great deals and overall nice variety to choose from. Will be back for sure.”
“Jay is the best. Came in after my driver shaft snapped during a morning round and he was able to fix it in less than 24 hours. He definitely know his stuff when it comes to fitting, and even offered to stick around a little while before closing. If you have any golf needs whatsoever I highley recommend. There’s a reason why he is no stranger to the Seattle golf community. Absolute legend.”
“Place was really really busy as it was the day after they beat the Lambs in the NFC Title game, for as busy as they were though the staff was very friendly and helpful.”
“This business has a lot more inventory and professionalism than Puetz down the street.I am getting back into golf so I have been looking for a new driver with a starting budget of around $300. John D. approached me in a very relaxed and professional manor as I told him what I’m looking for. He asked me a few questions to see where I am at with my golf swing and goals as he let me take some practice swings on the simulator. As I was duffing a few shots John kindly gave me some feedback and corrected my grip, and a few swings with the new grip had me making better contact.I came in looking for a Taylormade SIM2 driver (since it’s the only brand clubs I’ve ever used) so John let me try out a Ping G425 that he thought would be a great overall for my needs. He gave me thoughts and recommendations based on my swing with both clubs and I happily went with the Ping with no pressure whatsoever.Highly recommend this location for the area, and the experience I had was superb!”

“I like that this business has a family owned vibe to it. It is alwsys immaculately kept and you can tell they keep their work organized. I implicitly trust my life saving equipment to be serviced here. They are responsive to phone call (answered by a sweet human!) and email as well.”
“The Perfection is great for college, but the Lexum is one of the nicest volleyballs I have used. It's a good combination of sturdiness and tackiness (especially good for younger players learning to set). Very happy with the Lexum. Please, more color options!”
“Love this store man, great people always working with great customer service. I don’t even live in WA but every time I visit I pull up if not twice to grab a hat at this specific store!

“Cool looking supply shop with a good selection of Marmot stuff. At the beginning of October 2022 they had a lot of under garments and shirts at 50% off. Most of the shirts for men were smalls. Nice place in you forgot something on your travels.”
“Island Lumber is an institution and a gem in our community. They are one of the few remaining hardware business where there’s healthy group of employees who seriously know what they are talking about, a rarity, and have done what you’re doing. I routinely get and rely on great advice. Their lumber yard is well-stocked, well-staffed and rapid. Their prices fairly reflect the costs of doing business in a place where everything comes in by ferry. The expertise is priceless. Bring your dog. She needs a treat.”
“Great customer service!I ordered 10 pairs of medium pink socks for my daughters soccer team to wear during breast cancer awareness month. The socks arrived timely, however I did not review my order until a few weeks after the fact, and after having handed out all of the socks to the girls on the team. After the fact I realized I had received all size "small" socks instead. I had accidentally deleted my email confirmation from the company about my order so I was trying to figure out how to remedy this issue - or if they would even help me out.I emailed the company about the issue, providing my email address that I placed my order with, the FedEx tracking number, my date of purchase and so on, explaining that I received the wrong size socks from what I ordered. The very next day, they found my order, realized their error, and sent out 10 new pairs of socks that were medium size - telling me we did not have to return the small socks that were originally delivered in error and that we could keep them or donate them instead. They didn't hassle over it, they just fixed the issue, no questions asked. It was really painless. I would definitely do business with this company again.”
“Very helpful! I tried to fix my own key fob battery which turned out to be a lot more trouble than I imagined. I was calling around and the Toyota dealership told me this place could help, even though I don’t drive a Toyota. I was in and out in a couple of minutes and they were very friendly.”
