Dr. Remund DVM
2530 Harrison Ave, CentraliaVery compassionate staff and vet
They are the only office that would take our dog during covid when he needed to be put down when the vet he had seen since a puppy told us to take him to the emergency clinic.
We have gone to them every since and couldn't be more happy.

Pet Sitting & Training

Centralia Pet Resort
515 Bryden Ave, CentraliaI boarded several cats for 9 days. The owners were courteous and accommodating. I called several times while I was away and they returned my calls promptly, and happily gave me status reports. When I came to get the cats, I peeked through the window to see how the cats were doing before they saw me. Everyone was well cared for and content- laying stretched out or curled up asleep in their beds. The cost was reasonable and much less expensive than other locations. The owners live next door so they were right there. The conditions were clean and bright. The owner's husband was there when I picked up the cats and he was able to give me in depth details about each kitty that were accurate to each cat so I knew the cats had gotten personalized attention. Several years ago I boarded at northwind in the olympia/yelm area, there was no personalized attention. it was much more expensive. My mom had boarded her dog at the Centralia Pet Resort several years ago and she was pleased with their service.
I just came back from vacation to find the city putting in sewer pipes near my home. This is a loud and heavy pounding project-worse than an earthquake. So my dogs are shaking and scared. Looks like they may get boarded there now. When I need boarding again, I will return to the Centralia Pet Resort! Thank you Centralia Pet Resort!

The Creamery LC Coffee Co.
1622 S Gold St, CentraliaWe stopped by The Creamery LC Coffee Co. on a recent road trip. We both had Toasted Marshmallow Ice-Cream and it was literally the best ice-cream I've ever had. The texture is great. You can tell they use high quality ingredients. The flavor is absolutely amazing and the marshmallow cream throughout is just fabulous. I've never had anything like it. If they shipped; I'd have it delivered to my doorstep; it's that good. The atmosphere is happy and welcoming and the staff were friendly and helpful. We can't wait until we're in the area again. This will be a must stop for us next time.

McMenamins Olympic Club
112 N Tower Ave, CentraliaI stayed here because it was 5 minutes from where I was working for two days and because I live near the McMenimans Anderson School and have been to several of the restaurants and bars there several times.
The hotel is definitely a historic building. Definitely cool but also creaky and everything that comes with an old building. I thought the communal bathroom would bother me but it was not an issue. Several near my room. Room had no TV which I didn’t think about but I’m sure was advertised. Mt room was clean and the bathrooms were clean every time I used them. Close proximity to the train tracks is my biggest complaint. Very loud several times a night and in the morning with the horn because there is a crossing near the hotel. They have earplugs in the side table but I didn’t want to miss my alarm.
The staff was very nice. The restaurant downstairs is good, I would recommend it. They have a movie theater. It was cheap and definitely interesting. I would say worth the money.
