“A small store with good food and products I haven't seen elsewhere. Safflower oil. Truffle oil krinkle cut chips. A fun find which I will find again and again.”
“Everything is priced higher but it's worth it if you don't want to bother with spending time, gas, energy going to a bigger store when you only need a few things. It's a boutique neighborhood grocery. Super friendly service. GREAT PLACE to buy local gifts!”
“The bakery is great and the hot food is delicious! There are lots of different things but it's fairly expensive for the stuff on the shelves. It's kind of a bougie/fancy store. Think like Harris Teeter.”
“I never been to "G.O." before; It was different, yet similar in someway to non traditional food markets. The prices are much lower than local competitors throughout the area.G.O. has a mixture of products from fresh organic vegetables to fresh garden vegetables. The store is well organized. I suggest you browse through the store first to get a sense of where things are.The employees have positive attitudes to go along with their kindness and willingness to assist in any way possible.Kudos to the store manager for her exceptional leadership.”
“I had nice experiences I’ve had in a while, thanks to the pharmacist manager, Dan. I was stopping by the store looking for a few over-the-counter items and he asked thoughtful follow-up questions to understand what I was dealing with and gave me clear advice that made me feel like he truly cared about my well-being. I had a few questions about some products, and instead of just pointing me to an aisle or rushing through the conversation, he actually took the time to really listen.
I believe that Dan is passionate about his work and deeply committed to helping his patients. You don’t always expect that kind of attention and care during a quick trip to the pharmacy, but Dan went above and beyond, and I just wanted to take moment to say thanks to him.”
“This store has huge Asian and Hispanic food departments. The hard to find food and the delicious & cheap fried chicken make this store worth the 50 minute drive from the other end of the island.”
“The best one stop shop in town. For all you basic convenience store needs. Plus, the deli, it’s all fantastic, you really can’t go wrong with all the sandwiches. The pizza is also really superb as well.”
“I've been coming here off and on for about 5 years. I would give their produce department a 5 plus and it always smells so good when I walk in the door! I always know I can come here and get super fresh local and @ more reasonable prices than I would expect. I also appreciate their bulk food section which seems to be very well maintained. Unfortunately, their hot bar is often not well maintained. I think they should either give it up or give it the regular attention it needs so it remains fresh and fluffy - not crusty, dead and icky looking.
Update: 12/24/24 - got some very moist turkey, mashed potatoes and green beans from the hot bar. I feel sorry for any vegetarian however, because the black beans were absolutely parched dry. Is it really that difficult to maintain what you put out? I think tending to issues like keeping your hot food fresh and replenished deserves much more attention than feeding the political zealots hooked on identity politics! Off soapbox”
“Most recently came here in September 2021 on the hunt for vanilla ice cream with my grandma after picking some blackberries at a local state park. The parking lot is easy to navigate and carts easily accessible by the store entrance. Aisles were clearly labeled and it was straightforward to find what we were looking for. Some of the shelves were pretty picked over, though that might have partially been due to supply shortages during the COVID-19 pandemic. The store itself was cleanly and the workers friendly.”
“Thank you to the flower lady who, so graciously, on Christmas Day, wrapped this heavy cream with a perfect red ribbon bow for me. Trust me, the recipient of this gift will be highly amused. ?”
“In a town that rolls up the sidewalks at 4 pm,Imagine how pleasantly surprised I was to find hot coffee and hot food at quarter after 9 on a Friday night! The rest of the town is down cold for the night.Thoughtful friendly service too.”
“Denise is well-versed and trained in all herbs, oils, and tinctures. She also teaches a very informative class on various healing uses of herbs, through both hands-on and information-based learning. I highly recommend Mountain Spirit Herbal Co. for all herbal and oil needs.”
“Great place that stays open late, which is really nice because nothing else is open in the entire city. They also have really good fresh donuts every morning and a great selection and a very friendly staff and it's a good overall feeling.”
“I love it! Safeway is my favorite place to shoot up dope In town. There are not many public bathrooms open during COVID, I appreciate Safeway for being so generous. It's not a far walk from the homeless shelter, so me and my buddies will get a bag of dope and head to Safeway! You can catch me in there most morning and even catching a glorious nod off some of the best Afghan #4 You've had!”
“Variety of items fairly priced. Bakery has great deals. Deli also located here with tasty items. Don't come here hungry or you will buy the whole store. Have been to the Port Townsend, Sequim and Port Hadlock stores and have been pleasantly surprised at the cost of groceries. Will make a point of visiting other locations when I am traveling around the area.”
“Always a nice place to go. Meet some of the nicest people in the aisles! Variety is good. I find the meat and vegetable sections to be very good, with a great assortment.”
“Everyone is very kind respectful. If you live in this community you should feel blessed. New management is absolutely the kindest hard working people thank you for being there to help ..Jennifer and jj”
“I like the Oak Harbor Walmart because it's smaller than the others I have access to. I couldn't find one item I was looking for, but was happy with some football cards I purchased. Hoping for higher sought after brands in the future”

“The staff in front have been very helpful and even when they’re busy, they are respectful and kind. I have had some excellent experiences. I have also received shots there, and they did a good job!”
