Peninsula Equine Services
13045 Olympic Dr SE, OlallaDr. Page is amazing! She looks at the horse as a whole and has such a talent for knowing the issues the horse is presenting. My gelding is sensitive and he really likes her. She loves sharing education and is so encouraging. From chiropractic to acupuncture to nutrition, she looks at it all. She is fairly priced but I would pay more for her expertise. I wish I had found her years ago. She is changing my OTTB's world!

Pet Sitting & Training

Peninsula Pet Lodge
5493 Southeast Burley Olalla Road, OlallaOur very stereotypical golden retriever teenager (aka super happy and super scared of lots of silly things) absolutely loves this place. We’ve taken him for full day daycare twice now and he comes home his super happy, but very worn out, self. Highly recommend for anyone wanting flexible options (half day, full day, overnights). The owner is great and accommodates everything from the super social, omg you’re my new best friend, dog like our golden to the ones that hate everyone and everything - which would be our 14.5 year old schnoodle, and everything in between!

Olalla Bay Market & Landing
13965 Crescent Valley Road Southeast, OlallaGreat food, albeit a little pricey. ($20 pretax for a chicken salad sandwich with chips). They allow dogs on the patio and were super accommodating to get my pup water. The food is really good, I was worried the sandwich would quickly fall apart but no such thing happened. Really yummy. Everyone who works there is super nice and professional. Some of the patrons didn’t know about personal space and using their words (“excuse me”), just expecting you to anticipate their movements with the eyes in back of your head and need you to be okay with being touched by strange older men. That can’t be controlled by the establishment, though. Maybe make the queue area wider so old folks don’t use other patrons as lane bumpers?
