The vet techs and vets are all great with the animals and are very knowledgeable and good communicators. They are accommodating of my needs and always willing to do appts in their back room with its own entry to be able to skip waiting in and traveling thru the waiting room and rest of clinic. This is helpful for me and for my more dog-reactive ACD.

She was Very safety-conscious but also flexible and creative, finding ways to help over FaceTime, texted videos, in person from a distance, and in distanced outdoor class. She was always supportive and never talked down to me. I’ve been through dog training before, but Cayce’s very verbal approach was new to me. Plus it’s been 15 years and you forget all the details of puppyhood. I highly recommend her.

Island Queen
17705 Vashon Hwy SW, VashonDuring our road trip through WA, we visited Vashon Island for the first time and Island Queen for lunch. The service, food, and atmosphere were great. There were a few parking spots along the side, but everything is within walking distance in Vashon.
Inside, it was clean and organized, and we liked the decor. The food and soda/shakes were also good, and there were many sauces to choose from. The burgers were tasty, salad tasted fresh, and fries were just the right amount of crispy. The workers upfront and in the kitchen were friendly, hard-working, and got along well with each other, but always welcoming customers in. They did a great job hiring for the crew that was working that day (Thursday, July 23).
To burn off some of the yummy calories, we did hike on a nearby trail :) We will be back again in the future.

I knew there was tofu scramble based off other Happy Cow reviews but it wasn’t on the daily menu. If something vegan isn’t there, go ahead and ask the staff and the kitchen will make something special for you. They made me a nice tofu scramble that was filled with spices, salsa, greens, and pumpkin. They even added vegan cheese. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-15

17623 100th Ave SW, VashonThe restaurant is clean and very casual. Outdoor seating is available for those beautiful sunny days on the island. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Grateful for the clean restroom. The parking lot is limited. You may have to park across the street but, it's just a short walk. Public parking is free. The food is on the okay side but, the portions are generous. The prices are comparable to other restaurants on the island.
