“I leave reviews for post office only after using it for a few months. This post office does the job done, it is friendly, and the lines if they are there, move quickly. Mel is a sweetheart and treats everybody as her neighbor and friend. This location has a self-service kiosk, it does not work in about 20% of my visits, and in this case I use the live agents. Both the kiosk and live help work well. The closing time is 6pm, and they are open on Saturdays till 3pm, which helps a lot.”

“What a wonderful post office! Friendly and efficient staff eager to serve and get customers in and out quickly. Open 8:30-6 pm weekdays and bonus: 9- 3 on Saturday. If you have a debit/credit card, there's a self-serve kiosk 24/7 inside for mailing and more. Due to construction, just go to last building on left and enter via their first driveway. Great experience!”

“I always have positive experiences here, both in-person and with online communications. The self-service box also works very well. If I go on a weekday, it’s super fast and easy to use this post office due to the diagonal parking spots easy to get in and out of. On a Saturday, I’ve only had to wait a minute or two to park. I’m glad this is my local post office!”

“I had a really positive experience at this USPS branch. The staff were very kind and patient in answering my questions. In particular, I want to thank one of the supervisors who wears glasses. I do not know his name, but he was extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. I was confused about why my mail was being sent to my old address, and he quickly helped us identify the issue and resolve it. We also were not very familiar with some USPS tracking and mailing statuses, and he took the time to look into everything for us and patiently answered all of our questions. I really appreciated his professionalism, efficiency, and willingness to help. Thank you for the excellent customer service.”

“Want to say Ping is a postal employee Bothell Post office can be proud of. My package was delivered to wrong home (years ago this happened about four or five times a month do that we both have the same house address, different street address, but one block apart). Ping on my third attempt to get information much effort on her part effort on her part with joy helped me find it. Postman even delivered it to my door, although it fit in the mailbox, but that was very kind of him also didn’t get his name sorry. “Exceptional experience at this location! We came in early morning for a walk-in passport appointment for our newborn, expecting a long wait, but the entire process took less than 15 minutes. Steve assisted us and he was fantastic—highly efficient, incredibly helpful, and took the time to answer all of our questions. Getting a newborn passport can be stressful, but Steve made it seamless. Highly recommend!”

“I know it's hard to understand when you can't receive help. However I have lived in the same neighborhood moving a couple blocks over for over 15 years and I still have the same mailman. I also found out that when your boxes are broken into they go above and beyond and have your mail at the annex so it's safe. Here's the part many people may not know. The mailboxes installed in multi-family locations, condos, apartments, etc. The mailboxes if broken into are not actually able to be repaired by the post office. There is a third party vendor as the parts are hard to source. That vendor told me that he works full time now repairing mailboxes that were broken into. Isn't that a huge eyeopener. His job has increased so much and this Annex still comes out caring for us to get our mail and holding it. I love my mail guy and I appreciate the politeness of the people here at this Annex. I'm amazed how people at these locations work tirelessly for us. And I thank them. It definitely can't be easy.”

“After being told at Wedgwood post office that they could not issue my PM express refund that was not delivered by the guaranteed delivery date in their local office and unavailable online, I was advised to call USPS Customer Service who could. The USPS agent told me I was given incorrect information and advised me to request a refund online or go to a local postal office for an in person refund not necessarily Wedgwood. The postal clerk at Lake City was efficient and well informed, issuing my refund after having me complete a refund form. I could have saved time had I gone to Lake City office first.”

“my package had a missing apt number and I was trying to track it down for days. Although I have no idea what was going on behind the scenes, in the end it was recovered. I would give 5/5 for the carrier on my route, as he probably was organized enough to get my missing package in my mailbox. These folks are probably super busy all day every day, so when they go above and beyond to help recover packages, it's so appreciated. please be nice”

“It was tempting to give this post office one star. The one-star reviewers here amount to nearly a majority, and they are nearly all describing the same clerk. I will not describe her further, because everyone in Edmonds already knows who is meant, the way a small town knows its weather. I have stood in that line many times and heard things come from behind that counter that would be shocking anywhere, and are somehow more shocking at a post office, an institution whose entire premise is that things arrive where they are going without incident. But sometimes a thing is so wrong, so reliably and spectacularly wrong, that the only dignified response is to find the absurdity in it. Like when you are rushing to the airport and your Uber runs out of gas on the highway. Actually out of gas. On the highway. And the driver turns out to be an immigrant with a finer command of English and a clearer read on the American situation than most of the people we elect to explain it to us. What do you do? You cannot be angry at everything at once. You laugh, and you make the flight or you don't. A reviewer on Yelp wrote that being scolded at this post office is practically a rite of passage in Edmonds, and I laughed out loud, because it is true, and because it means we are all initiates. I like to imagine climbing Mount Fuji, or standing on Easter Island, and meeting a stranger who turns out to be from Edmonds, and watching the conversation drift, as it inevitably must, to a certain counter. There would be no need to explain anything. That is what a landmark is. And here is the thing: the rest of the staff are great. Genuinely, patiently great, and they show up every day beside the legend and do the work. It is for them that I cannot and will not give this post office anything other than five stars. The stars are for the many. The story, I'm afraid, is for the one.”

A client/customer mainly comes to this Carrier Station to pick up packages, certified/registered mail, or/and speak to a Supervisor or the Postmaster for an issue with mail delivery. Please understand the mail carriers are continued to be pushed to the limit with added delivery addresses when the delivery routes should be a lot shorter. Thank you. Retired Carrier.”
