They were also more than happy to show me around the facility multiple times and answer all my questions without ever making me feel rushed.

The facility itself is very clean, well maintained, and climate controlled, which gave me a lot of confidence storing my belongings there.

One thing I especially appreciated was being able to use their moving truck for free to move my belongings into the storage unit. That is such a thoughtful and genuinely useful service to offer customers, and it made the whole moving process considerably easier.

A special shout-out to Angel (we both love the green candy! 😄) and Merceddez for being so friendly and making the entire process smooth and stress-free.

“Highly recommend this moving crew. They moved our entire 3-bedroom in just 4 hours with an impressive speed at a price that genuinely surprised us.

The team was friendly, efficient, and handled every piece with care wrapping furniture thoroughly in blankets and protective wrap before moving anything. “Honestly I have had bad experiences with Public Storage in the past, but Blake is single handedly the reason I will come back to this location. He honestly gave me the best customer service experience I ever had. The company may have some questionable policies but Blake did everything in his power to help me and I greatly appreciate him for it.”

“I have nothing but good things to say about this place. We only had to get rid of our storage unit for financial reasons, but if/when we need storage again, Totem Lake West will be at the top of the list of our considerations!

Today when I was clearing out the unit, a man who worked there (unfortunately did not get his name) offered to unlock the recycle bin especially for me (even though they are not for customers). I asked if when we finish with the unit if they need to be swept and he offered to sweep it for me! Plus just his pleasant demeanor in a customer/client facing industry was such a nice change of pace. And even though he knew we were finishing with our unit, there was absolutely zero guilt-tripping or selling to get us to hold onto our unit.

If you are in need of storage in the Totem Lake/Juanita area, I would HIGHLY recommend.”

“I rented a unit here for my son several times while he was at college. I always found the rates to be good, the place always was secure, access was easy, and the people were good to work with. We were emptying the unit out after his graduation and they worked with us to prorate the fees so we weren't paying for days we didn't use even though our moving dates were after deadlines for the month. I really appreciated that. Would rent here again.”

“There was an issue with our truck, but it was communicated to us beforehand and a discount was issued. Truck ran smoothly and the staff was helpful. Service was slow due to a lot of customers and not many workers, but that’s not a deal breaker for me. Just plan ahead of time when arriving to pick up/drop off.”

“The office/store always smells like cigarette smoke which makes the experience a bit worse. The equipment was phenomenal though! It's very rare that I rent a truck that's this clean and modern and such. Truck drove and handled like a dream! The stairs built into the backside of the bed were very helpful for getting in and out of the bed. The self return site was NOT very user friendly. The picture taking and odometer entry verification sections were the least user friendly parts. At first the odometer kept including the placeholder zeros which initially charged me for driving 3,760 miles instead of the 78 I actually drove... Tip: if this happens to you, ignore the zeros and enter your odometer reading then move the cursor to just behind the last zeros and then you can finally delete them and be billed correctly! Pricing varies WILDLY within a hyper-local area! Kirkland Way Storage was $57.95 for 24 hts where as Kirkland U-Haul a mile up the road was nearly 50% cheaper!!! at $31.95! That's absurd! I only accidentally discovered this when I clicked the wrong location to restart my reservation online.”

“I had a fantastic experience with the team at U-Haul today.

After accidentally locking the keys inside my rental van, I called customer service expecting to need a locksmith. I initially spoke with April and she documented the event while I waited for AAA. When AAA was not able to help, I call back and spoke with Annie. She was kind, reassuring, and never made me feel embarrassed. She explained the options, and when the locksmith would have cost around $200, she didn’t stop there—she took the initiative to check whether a spare key might be available.

A short time later, she called back with great news: they had located a spare at the field office, and Carolina, one of the field managers, personally drove it out to me. Their extra effort saved me a significant expense and got me back on the road much sooner than I expected.

Even the representative at the store in Kirkland was a delight to interact with during pickup and drop off.

Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to helping solve the problem rather than simply processing the transaction. Mistakes happen, and I appreciated being treated with kindness and respect throughout the entire experience.
