“I had a unit at Cubes in Kirkland for several years, and it was a great experience. I enjoyed the indoor aspect, never had issues with climate control, my stuff was kept safe and damage-free the whole time. There were periodic rent increases, but that’s standard and they always came with plenty of notice. Nice to have restrooms available, large flat bed push carts, and the truck! Would recommend.”

The team was friendly, efficient, and handled every piece with care wrapping furniture thoroughly in blankets and protective wrap before moving anything. They asked where we wanted things placed in the new home rather than assuming, and when we changed our minds and wanted items repositioned, they handled it without any pushback.
What stood out most was how communicative they were asking specific questions about particular pieces instead of just guessing.

“I have nothing but good things to say about this place. We only had to get rid of our storage unit for financial reasons, but if/when we need storage again, Totem Lake West will be at the top of the list of our considerations!
Today when I was clearing out the unit, a man who worked there (unfortunately did not get his name) offered to unlock the recycle bin especially for me (even though they are not for customers). I asked if when we finish with the unit if they need to be swept and he offered to sweep it for me! Plus just his pleasant demeanor in a customer/client facing industry was such a nice change of pace. And even though he knew we were finishing with our unit, there was absolutely zero guilt-tripping or selling to get us to hold onto our unit.
If you are in need of storage in the Totem Lake/Juanita area, I would HIGHLY recommend.”
“Very Nice facility. Some Heated and some not but it’s well vented. Good pricing and you get a Free Moving truck. Trevor is nice, polite, well communicated and a funny guy. You definitely will love the place.
Oh! There is a dock station for easy loading and offloading prevented from rain.”

“There was an issue with our truck, but it was communicated to us beforehand and a discount was issued. Truck ran smoothly and the staff was helpful. Service was slow due to a lot of customers and not many workers, but that’s not a deal breaker for me. Just plan ahead of time when arriving to pick up/drop off.”
“The office/store always smells like cigarette smoke which makes the experience a bit worse. The equipment was phenomenal though! It's very rare that I rent a truck that's this clean and modern and such. Truck drove and handled like a dream! The stairs built into the backside of the bed were very helpful for getting in and out of the bed. The self return site was NOT very user friendly. The picture taking and odometer entry verification sections were the least user friendly parts. At first the odometer kept including the placeholder zeros which initially charged me for driving 3,760 miles instead of the 78 I actually drove... Tip: if this happens to you, ignore the zeros and enter your odometer reading then move the cursor to just behind the last zeros and then you can finally delete them and be billed correctly! Pricing varies WILDLY within a hyper-local area! Kirkland Way Storage was $57.95 for 24 hts where as Kirkland U-Haul a mile up the road was nearly 50% cheaper!!! at $31.95! That's absurd! I only accidentally discovered this when I clicked the wrong location to restart my reservation online.”
“John was terrific for my hitch installation. He provided expert advice and explained the various options to me. He did a superb installation of an Ecohitch on my 2013 Toyota Highlander. Since I mentioned my failed DIY attempt with the 'recommended' Curt, he took the additional time to triple verify the fit of the Ecohitch through his sources. I even had a couple scews from my failed DIY that he found the correct homes for. I will eventually be getting a new car and will definitely be back for another hitch with John.”

“Easy to get to, competitive pricing, can reserve a storage unit online and then inspect in person before committing. John Michael in the office was polite and super helpful. I ended up renting a unit that was a better option than what I had selected online. Getting 24 x 7 access is available but costs extra. Not all units have interior lighting, so worth it to inspect unit before renting. Easily accessible from I-405 or downtown Kirkland.”
