“I have been trying to get a loan from other bank for 3 weeks knowing that I was already approved and I am glad that I didn't get it. I decided to go to Sound Credit Union hoping to get a personal loan with a 7.5% interest rate. I left with all the needed amount in my new account with only 2.44% ??The nice lady (Unfortunately I didn't get her name) worked with me on the loan and then she told me about an option that I have never thought about it. “Buying a Toyota Tacoma for a good deal is NOT easy. The work to fight the rest of the market and buy it is aggressive as all hell, before even considering how the market has inflated their value to the point that banks just don't want to finance them. Getting a Tacoma financed for a good price is a feat.But after 3 years of searching for the right Tacoma with the right year, miles, and specs, Sebastian was able to jump through all the hoops necessary to get us our car. This man is the epitome of customer service, generosity, and work ethic, and whatever they're paying him, it's not enough. We would not be able to get our truck and make memories as a family like we are currently with our now frequent adventures in our adventure vehicle. They are very friendly and conveniently located. Drive through for banking and inside banking as well. The online site does charge about $10+ for paying online, and over the phone, so I usually go inside and pay. I like this place overall. Would recommend”

And guess who pays for those profits. Now, credit unions like my GESA Credit Union are non-profit, have the same products at lower fees, the process to get a loan is much easier, customer service is better and personable, your money is safe and they're part of the community, not the corporation. I've had all my personal accounts with GESA CU in Lynnwood for several years and I'm a satisfied customer.”
