The people are so nice. They took the time to make sure they understood what I wanted. This is the first haircut he’s had as an adult, that turned out beautifully. They have an amazing selection of items for all sorts of animals and the employees are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The person usually in the reptile section was super helpful with the purchase and care of my sister's ball python. And the aquatics section is the best I've ever seen. All the animals are happy and healthy in tanks suited to their needs. I love the aquatic plants for sale in that section too. The two people usually in that section are so polite and helpful for anything you might need. By far the best pet store I've ever seen!

6531 Sexton Dr NW, OlympiaI was immediately impressed! I found a wounded kitty on the side of Steamboat Island Road who needed immediate help. It was almost 6pm on a Friday eve. I drove there and the door was locked, but I knocked anyway. Two very friendly techs answered the door. I explained the situation and they could see how upset I was. Even though they didn't have a vet there, they took the kitty in and told me they would make it comfortable until the vet could examine him in the morning. I was so appreciative of their professionalism and compassion!

Special thanks to Dr Herbert, Dr Shoemakee, and Dr Molitor who've provided the majority of our pet care. Im certain the other DVMs are just as wonderful.

Dr. Braun takes the time to talk with us, discuss our concerns and discusses appropriate treatment. After he performed surgery on our dog he took the time to call us and give an update on her condition and the support staff followed up with how she was doing the following day. I can't say enough good things about the clinic.

Gosh, it was about 14 years ago now, but their kindness and love never left me.My Lucy was rescued from a puppy mill, she was a mom who'd been forced to breed far too much. She had a myriad of struggles and Dr. Bob walked me through them all.At one appointment, my POTS acted up, and I accidentally fainted while in the clinic. Vikki picked up my little 3 year old daughter and sang to her while I came to, brought me water and a muffin, and kept her calm. Meanwhile, Dr. Bob kept caring for Lucy.They made sure everyone was safe and taken care of.The awful day that I had to let Lucy go, Doctor Bob stayed with Lucy and I. I was unable to speak, and struggled to do anything other than rub her sweet ears and cry. He understood that and talked with her about the beautiful rainbow bridge it was time for her to cross. How there was a nice little stream with water that was good to drink and how there was lots of grass to play in. She could chase squirrels and the sun was always shining. He essentially walked her home with me. I still hear his voice comforting us, and when my soul aches for her, I remember where my Lucy girl is.He also was my kitty's doctor from the day I brought her home for 10 years. She's been around since before Lucy. She is still spry and healthy and I attribute that to her excellent health care for the first half of her life and the advice Dr. Bob gave me about proper kitty care. She's 17.5 years old.If I still lived in the state, Dr Bob would be the only vet I would ever use.He really truly loves the animals he helps. I'll never be able to thank them enough.

You can tell that the volunteers truly care about giving the cats the best lives possible. I highly encourage anyone to support this organization and adopt from here! I’m so in love with the cat they helped me adopt!
Edit: I ended up adopting another cat from them a month later and I appreciated all the information they gave me about his personality. He’s adjusted so well to my home and keeps my other cat company. I had another great experience adopting from them!
