Pet Grooming

Pet Town Dog Spa
2427 W Sims Way, Port TownsendI've taken my Golden Retriever, Yogi, here for his grooming several times and the staff always do such an amazing job! They take great care of him, too, during his appointments. I would recommend Pet Town Dog Spa to anyone looking to get their doggos groomed!

Pet Care

Pet Townsend Veterinary Clinic
1445 F St, Port TownsendEnd of life planning is challenging. I’m thankful for Dr Rampage’s compassion and support for our process. I also really appreciate the handout she provided. The QOL survey tool is helping my husband and I evaluate our pet’s quality of life in a way that lets us focus on her needs rather than our own attachments. This will help us know when the bad days are outweighing the good ones.

The staff at Dog Townsend is incredibly kind and thoughtful, always going the extra mile to ensure that every dog feels loved and safe. Our dog absolutely adores her time there and comes home happy and tired from all the fun. We truly appreciate the dedication and love the team at Dog Townsend shows, making it a fantastic place for any dog. Highly recommend!

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Pourhouse
2231 Washington St, Port TownsendOne of the two bars I tend to actually go to in Port Townsend, Pourhouse is nicely atmospheric with a large outdoor seating area featuring a covered patio, tables with umbrellas, tables without umbrellas and a ping-pong table. It's right on the beach, which provides a pleasant, if sometimes slightly chill breeze. There is some indoor seating, but significantly less than outdoors, so i generally expect to be outside. The selection on tap is decent, primarily focused on various beers, but they always keep both a sweet and a dry cider available as well, one of which is typically my choice for the evening. Prices are on the lower side of standard for the area, so not cheap, but also not $15+ per drink like you can find at some of the town's coctail bars. It's a great place to spend an evening with friends, particularly in summer and early fall.

Fiesta Mexican Restaurant
1232 W Sims Way, Port TownsendI like to be picky and cynical but WOW, Feista is so rad I have zero complaints and am deeply satisfied. It's comfortable in here, easy reliable fast service. Gentle, warm and worn atmosphere. Beautiful clay mugs for coffee and water. Phenomenal salsa (spicy, corful!) served right away with buttery- like crisp chips and delicious refried beans. I felt like I was home. Lol, you only say that when you're really hungry, well taken care of annnnd probably coming from another local Mexican restaurant that isn't anywhere near as good as this one. La Fiesta is the best Mexican restaurant in Port Townsend!

Owl Sprit Cafe
218 Polk St, Port TownsendThe food is good! It's a lovely, warm place, small and cheerful. It's pricy, $20 a sandwich with no sides. The sweet potato fries are good but the basket is small so don't expect a heap. The service was nice but exceedingly slow and got two out of five orders wrong, and they weren't hard orders, no changes or weird stuff. Good hearty food, great for vegans, vegetarians and gluten free, and for everybody else too.

123 Thai Food
2219 E Sims Way, Port Townsend…by a menu which lacks clear guidance on what is vegan or can be made vegan! The man at the counter immediately asked my husband “Are you vegan?” when he started ordering his fried rice with modifications and it was smooth sailing from there! The “Thai vinaigrette” that is referenced on several menu items is also vegan, FYI, so the cucumber salad, for example, is vegan as-is. The veganized Singapore noodles was a serious flavor bomb. Will definitely order again. I would say their spice rating leans spicier than most Thai spots, so if you are someone who is on the fence between spice levels, you might want to go with the lower rating at this spot. I regret not snagging pics before we dug in! Updated from previous review on 2026-07-12

Propolis Brewing
2457 Jefferson St, Port TownsendCan't rave enough about this place! If you haven't tried farmhouse ales before, this is the place to do it! It's a very unique style you won't find just anywhere, so keep that in mind. My boyfriend and I drove out of our way to come here purely because they make this style of beer and we were NOT disappointed! Piper was super friendly and helpful and we loved talking to her and hearing about all the fresh, natural ingredients her and her partner put into the beer (mushrooms from her garden, spruce tips she picked herself, wild berries, etc.). It was mind blowing how many unique ingredients they utilize! Their to-go selection was huge too! We bought SO many to fly back with us and they boxed it up for us so we can check it on the plane! Give these award winning beers a chance and if you don't know where to start, Piper will help ya out and walk you through it! The vibe and decor inside was so cute too!
