Pet Stores & Supplies

Pets Are People Too
1670 S Grand Ave, PullmanThis place is amazing and is the only place I trust to take my pets to, either this one or the one over in Moscow. They have a wide selection of supplies for pets as well as high quality food brands. They also sell small pets ranging from hamsters to spiders. A huge thing for me though are the selection of natural treats such as real antlers and nutritious animal parts that would otherwise be discarded (pig noses, chicken heads, duck heads, salmon skin, chicken feet, etc.)100% recommend!

Pet Care

Evergreen Veterinary Clinic
384 WA-27, PullmanWhile my wife generally handles the veterinary appointments I still remain as involved as possible in understanding what goes on with them, billing, and so on. Switching from our previous vet to Evergreen was already a huge upgrade in my book, but I have to come write the review after yesterday's experience at the clinic.
Unfortunately we had to make the gut punch decision to put my beloved cat down, and Dr. Durham and the entire staff made on of the lowest days of my life tolerable. I can't thank them enough for being loving, caring, and honest about a decision that I hope no one else ever has to make (but sadly is a reality of pet ownership).
Would absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone.

Alpine Animal Hospital
4853 WA-270, PullmanI have never experienced such amazing care as that of Dr. Nichols and her staff. Her explanation of the euthanasia process to two girls about to lose their pup was kind and thorough. She is a gift to the community and I am so thankful she helped us through a horrible situation.

Tail Waggin' Adventures
4481 WA-27, PullmanNothing but amazing things to say about Tail Waggin Adventures! Our pup Fig stayed with them while we were on vacation and we couldn’t have been more happy with her boarding there. They took great care of her and she definitely had so much fun! We loved that they post pictures of the dogs almost everyday, so we could see how she was doing! Highly recommend!

Thomas Hammer Coffee Roasters
400 E Main St, PullmanThe coffee here was good and the baristas/cashiers were nice. The space very much feels like a study spot. There's upstairs and downstairs seating, the upstairs is more quiet and p much everyone up there was studying.

Trailside Taproom - Paradise Creek Brewery
505 SE Riverview St suite c, PullmanCozy little industrial brewery space. This is the same brewery as in the Old Post Office- they have the same beer on draft. It was all well crafted to style and a wide range.

Rico's Smoke House Inc
200 E Main St, PullmanRico’s is hands down my favorite bar in Pullman. It’s a traditional Irish-themed pub, and you can tell they hold themselves to that standard. The place has an incredible history, and they’ve done their best to keep it as authentic as possible.
My favorite nights are Wednesdays- 21% off women’s drinks and half-off wine bottles make it the perfect midweek spot. Beyond the deals, it’s the atmosphere that keeps me coming back. There’s pool, darts, a fireplace for cozy nights, live jazz on occasion, open mic nights, trivia, painting nights, and even holiday-themed menus.
The food is consistently amazing, and what really stands out is the staff. Tawny, the manager and owner, clearly takes great pride in Rico’s, and it shows. The team has a great relationship with each other and with their customers, creating a welcoming, community vibe. It’s not just a bar to me. It is a place full of memories, and one I’ll always treasure.

The Old European Restaurant
455 S Grand Ave, PullmanI’ve always enjoyed TOER in Spokane, and I assumed the Pullman location would be just as good. This note is really for the owners: PLEASE consider coming to Moscow. We’re badly underserved when it comes to breakfast. The only truly decent spot in town is The Club, and a two-hour wait just isn’t something I’m willing to do.
Jack Jack’s is garbage, and Denny’s is clearly straight out of the SYSCO playbook. There’s a real gap here, and I honestly believe TOER would do very well. Moscow is ready for a solid, well-run breakfast place, and you’d have a loyal crowd from day one.
