My truck was totaled and the gap insurance, Safe-Guard Gap, is dragging their feet on covering the gap(will never use them again), but my payment with Harborstone is due and I walked in and the manager, Dennis, was very helpful. He informed me of what will be happening with this loan, and he made me feel much better about not being able to cover my loan and told me that he will note my account so I don't get collector calls because of my situation. The first rep I spoke to, Maria, was very kind and helpful, and cheerfully got me over to the right department, which is where I encountered Ida. Ida was *wonderful*. “I was walking by with my dog and this guy was totally out of pocket yelling at a short lady by the door. They had been closed for maybe 10 minutes at that point and he was hella heated they wouldnt reopen just for him as if he's so special that the hours don't apply to him. Anyway, she was a champ and didn't get mad back, just calming saying they can't assist as they're closed and they need to let people out that had been there since before they closed. Not sure what the dudes problem was but his poor planning isn't their fault and they were super kind even while getting yelled at. I don't know who you are short lady, but way to stand up to a bully!”

“I dropped into this BECU because I needed a replacement debit card. I'd had some issues getting one over the phone and after waiting 19 days for it to arrive in the mail, I decided to stop into the neighborhood center. Even though I didn't have an appointment they were able to serve me within 10 minutes of my arrival. The entire interaction was quick and efficient and I walked out with my new debit card about 20 minutes after arriving.Ironically, my other debit card arrived in the mail that day, so I just cut it up. But I think the neighborhood service center did a great job and I would definitely go back.”
