“I happened to be driving down Airport Way in Seattle and saw a perfect vintage Alfa Romeo out front of Prestige Auto Salon. I made a quick u-turn to check it out. I then noticed that Jack (the owner) was working on a Rolls Royce and checked out his work. I was driving my 1999 Ferrari 456M GT and asked Jack if they could make it look as good as the Alfa and the Rolls. He did an amazing job touching up and buffing the paint to look like new. He then applied a front-end & windshield PPF and then ceramic coated the whole thing including the wheels. My car has never looked better (and still does). His prices are fair and the quality is unparalleled. They are also great people to work with!”

“I was at the Ballard Brown Bear when I locked my keys in the car, I didn’t have my phone either. The Assistant Manager Musaab was awesome! He let me use his phone to contact GEICO and schedule roadside assistance. It took an hour but he let me know if any updates and when the repair person arrived. “I love this place! Their snack and soft drink game is STRONG. If you drink alcohol - they also have a whole walk-in beer room - and a few wines in cans (very slim choice - but still). Cheaper than grocery stores! They have icees and hot dogs that are actually pretty good. Easy in and out for gas! The staff is nice - they don’t go over the top - they are just real people who are providing us a good service!”
“I am a person who takes great care in maintaining my car. I used to wax it myself 3 times a year, and was always pleased with the results. One day I decided to give Mr. Detail a try for a standard wash and wax, and after that figured maybe I should leave most of the detailing to a professional. Last year I decided to upgrade to a polish and wax service and was amazed at the noticeable difference. My car always looked great according to my neighbors, but the polishing made it look like a car still on the dealer's showroom floor. I now wax my car once a year and Mr. Detail does it twice.Mr. Detail Ballard has great service. There is no hard sell. I go in, we talk about my objectives, the manager looks at my car, and we talk about the best option for me. From this point on, it'll be the polishing service.”

“I don't pay much attention to gas stations, I'll admit. However, I tend to be an early-riser and a couple of years ago I started grabbing coffee when I fueled up at this particular spot. I would see the same man at the cash register, Harold. Many times while I was paying for coffee, Harold would be joking with a number of their patrons as they breezed in and out. Debating politics, religion, fashion, you name it. All in a 10-second clip. Always with a smile and a hardy laugh. Joining in the discussions many times is the manager, Kathy, who appears deceptively shy at first blush. The two of them will raise the roof with a rousing round of Jeopardy-worthy knowledge of world events, science and DIY tips! It's my favorite way to start my morning when I'm filling up my coffee cup. Come in for the gas, the coffee and the thoughtful discourse.”

“It's old and some of the equipment needs upgrading but I go there almost every week (if it isnt raining) since I don't have a place to wash my cars at home. I take a bucket, wash mit, and my own soap since I have a graphine ceramic coating and have to use a special soap to keep it rejuvenated. Plus I don't trust what may be on the brush that may cause damage to my paint. If you want a spot free dry also bring a drying towel or chammois to use after the wash since the "Spot Free Rinse" isn't spot free. If you do use the brush you should use the pressure washer to spray whatever debris may be left on the brush from the last person that used it.”

“Skip the car wash- stay for the fried foods especially the catfish. This shell has a great selection of fried foods 24hrs YES the car wash is a hot mess per order reviews- but the catfish with a side of hot sauce holds a special place in my heart. It's yummy, and cheap. The catfish is long thin pieces the breading is light and not overcooked. Gas station food with a chefs kiss!”

“Great, honest, hand car wash from hard working people. Just had them do a quick in/out service on my vehicles this weekend. I will say some of the chemicals they use on interior plastics are a little harsh/slippery but just communicate what you want or don’t want and they will accommodate.”
