“I went into Big Five in mid-October while visiting family in Shoreline. The AirbnB I was staying at had a terrible mattress, and I would not be able to sleep on it another night. I went into Big Five hoping to find something I could sleep on for a few nights. An excellent young lady named Damaris not only directed me to the camping-style mattresses, she explained the two options and helped me select the one that would be best for my circumstances. The air mattress I purchased exceeded all of my expectations, and I slept like a baby for the next five nights. The customer service I received saved me hundreds of dollars as I did not have to leave the AirBnb for a hotel. I appreciate the selection of Big Five and the patience and thoughtfulness of Damaris. Thank you!”

“Took the Fundamentals of Kayaking Class offered by NWOC this week. What a treasure-trove of new skills, knowledge and confidence I found. This is a top-notch operation, from safety to quality. We've rented from them for years and keep coming back because of their smooth and easy operations, high-quality boats, and safety-first mentality.
I mostly want to rave about the instructors who clearly know their skills, but I swear they also really know how to teach. We have been in a couple of other paddling classes where the expert didn't really take the time to break down the skill or ensure that you were learning. Not so here. Our instructors described and demonstrated the skills, building on concepts and ensuring that the class was actually learning. Take this class! You won't be disappointed.”

“Sales guy Evan was knowledgeable about the shoes there I'll tell you! I wasn't even going to buy some. I was just looking getting ideas. I'd had Hoka shoes before, which are great shoes. I looked at the cute, comfortable Altra shoes, slid my foot in the shoe, and my foot just melted. So I changed my mind. I bought them! Because you never know if that shoe in your size would be there next time. That would be a big Un- zen like disappointment! We want the good feeling! Go there, get your next pair there!”

“Great experience. I went it looking for a climbing machine. Hers the deal I went in before my workout. This guy that works for one they didn’t have a climbing machine. Rare if they would have one most fitness stores do not stock this kind of machine. He love his job really positive and is super knowledgeable on fitness I would say go check it out. Fun experience and you get to sit in line 5 or 6 different massage chairs. It’s the best.”
“Stopped in to buy a complete, they had everything I asked for and some really cool options for shop decks, the one I got was kind of a Newport theme and it was designed by the guy who was working so that was pretty awesome ~all in all the experience was phenomenal I had a great time looking at their vinyl and stickers, and the service was amazing. Highly recommend!”

“The most unique REI store in the United States. They have a small outdoor park for you test equipment and even a small track to test your bikes. Very nicely decked out and the customer service is very good. Lots of staff constantly looking out for ways to help you out.”

“Came in for the first time at this store to make my first ever snowboard purchase, and their shop manager Bryce spent what had to have been easily an hour or more helping me decide which board / bindings / boots would be best for me given the budget I provided, as well as giving me just a ton of general knowledge about snowboarding and things to consider. He helped me completely set up my board / bindings and get it ready to use while being super patient with me as I asked for adjustments etc. Super friendly / chill staff and was an amazing stress-free experience overall. Really happy I came here and will definitely be coming back for anything else I need for snowboarding!”

“The folks at Puetz Golf stand behind the products they sell 100%. I recently ordered from their online store a close-out electric Golf Caddy/Trolly that was discontinued by the manufacturer in 2024.
Imagine my disappointment when the unit came to me and was defective with nothing working as it should. Andy from Puetz customer service not only responded to my concerns professionally and promptly outside of business hours… but they replaced it, in the store, with a unit that was the current model for no additional cost. 100% painless and all on the same Sunday I reached out.
Jordan from the Seattle location literally had everything complete in a few short minutes, no interrogation, no hassle, never a doubt that they were going to do the right thing. I didn’t need to pay for shipping because I bought it online, didn’t need to wait until they could source another similar 2024 model, or just give me my money back… I just got excellent service and walked out with a perfect, new replacement.
Service like this is from a prior age when businesses valued the customer more than the sale. They will have my business on every golf purchase I can send their way, and they should get yours too!!!”
“The BEST tennis store in Seattle.Roger has been here for a very long time supporting tennis in Seattle long before it was popular. I even remember going to summer camps for adults in the evenings.Avanti has everything you need. Lets support a local business that adds to our tennis community rather than an online website with no connection to Seattle at all.One other interesting fact...Roger will never forget your name. I dont know how he does it but he has an uncanny ability to recall everyone's name.”

“My husband and I were looking for clothes and in every other store in University Village, the largest men’s pant size we could find was a 34, with one pair of 36s. At Eddie Bauer, we were able to find pants up to a 42 waist, and even found a pair of 38/30 when we never find anything that’s both wide and short. We were also able to find women’s clothes in 2X sizes. For both of us, we found that the sizing was generous enough that we could even size down as needed. The salesperson was incredibly helpful and knew a lot about the clothes, helping us find sizes and giving us advice about how they fit. This was the most comfortable clothes shopping trip I’ve had in ages, and I’ll definitely be adding Eddie Bauer to my regular shopping list.”
“This official Mariners Team Store is located right next to the Mayflower Park Hotel and is a fantastic place to pick up official Mariners swag and merch! There is construction going on with the older and historic building it's located in. The building itself is actually very cool and kind of reminds me of a short, squatty version of the Flatiron Building in NYC. lol (+) They have a TON of selection of Mariners merchandise. I actually came here the morning after we went to the Astros- Mariners game because nothing in the Ballpark really excited me. I dropped a few bucks in here but ended up with some great Mariners swag! My favorite is a really nice hoodie with the retro logo on it! Also ended up picking a couple of shirts and a couple of hats! Fantastic selection here! (+) The guy working that day was super friendly and helpful. The customer service here was much better than I was anticipating! (-) the only real negative I have to report is that on one of the hats I bought the detection device (or whatever the hell you call it) was never removed from the hat. I was going to take a shot at removing it myself, but it was one that was loaded with ink. Yuck. Luckily, I have a friend in retail that was able to safely remove it for me without damaging the hat. I feel supremely confident that it was a total mistake, but it still was an annoying situation to deal with. Other than that, this place is awesome! 4 solid stars.”
