“Over the past few months I have become acquainted with and assisted by Heather Austerman at your Lakewood Branch. In one instance deposits of more than $16000 were made into my ACU checking account in error by an unknown third party from another state. I asked Heather to help me return those funds. Instead, and with my best interest in mind, she immediately suspected a potential scam. She contacted your fraud department and with their help after a challenging series of events the source of the deposit was identified and the funds were returned to their origin.I was so impressed with Heather's service and personal attention that I later asked if she could help me with an auto lease buyout. I had difficulty obtaining a lease buyout packet from the dealership. Heather called the dealership on my behalf. They had no idea what a lease buyout packet is and she had to educate them! Once that requirement was met Heather converted that lease to an ACU car loan for me AND, at my request, she concurrently adjusted the limit on my ACU Visa card.I've had accounts at another bank for forty years. Never have I received the level of service from them that I received from Heather. Her professionalism, communication style and "pulling out the stops" personal attention were nothing less than exemplary.I want to underscore my remarks by saying that I am a semi-retired professor of marketing and former independent sales and customer service corporate training consultant, therefore my customer service "bar" is very high. Heather met and surpassed that bar!”

I became a member to HCU with an auto loan through the car dealership of my recent purchase. The reason for my visit was to take care of some items in association with the vehicle purchase. “Good experience but my Gosh, the guy working the front desk in the front on Aug 28th around 1pm. He was helping a younger lady with the name Megan. He called her up just fine. She then gets called by a different banker. He said “I’m helping her, just drop her back in the queue.” Then another banker calls Megan. He glares at the banker. The banker goes “did you grab her?” He says with the rudest tone “yes”. How are they supposed to know? Meanwhile my grandmother is standing up because she doesn’t have her card and didn’t know she could still use the kiosk. He says “ma’am you need to check in at the kiosk and wait your turn” so rude? But anyways. Next banker calls a different persons name. Nobody comes up. The rude guy yells “just grab whoever is first! Jesus Christ!” Across the whole building. I watched him be rude to 3 people in the span of 5 minutes and stopped paying attention after my grandmother got called. It was ridiculous. Quit if you don’t like your job or can’t be nice to people, especially the poor coworkers. It’s embarrassing to them you speak that way to them but more embarrassing you behave that way as an adult. Idk who he was but I believe his last name started with an R from afar. Has to be a hostile work environment with this guy.”
