It is within easy walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants, right on the riverfront trail, and close to Gonzaga University. The hotel is dog friendly and known for its warm chocolate chip cookies. Guest rooms are frequently described as spacious and very clean, with good heat and amazing hot water. The hotel features two restaurants and a Starbucks. The on-site restaurant, Spencer's, receives praise for its tasty food, including excellent steak kabobs, salads, and happy hour appetizers and drinks from 3-5 PM. $28 a night parking! Long walk from parking lot. No brochures of any kind or directory. All digital. Fridge but no microwave. No clock in room. Tried calling front desk, rang for 5 min. No answer. No Continental breakfast. Restaurants only. Bright side, great location. River view. Good cookies. Would I stay here again?... read full comment
