Never have I ever been to any automotive place where the men are actually gentlemen… It’s refreshing going to a place where the workers actually care. ESPECIALLY Del, he really went above and beyond for me. Really wanted my family to have a great holiday! I’m not sure if this place is Christian based, but it sure felt like it…I couldn’t be anymore happy with my decision on choosing them to work on my car…. “Don't take your auto anywhere else! Totem Lake Auto Care does a great job with my 96 Tacoma and my 19 Tucson. They are busy so don't expect a 30 minute oil change but they know cars and give good value for their services.”
“In July, my Ford F-150 started having all sorts of problems. Engine knocking, rough starts, sputtering, limp mode, etc. I called up Doc and had the truck towed to his shop. He was able to get me in, same day, and diagnose all of the problems within 24 hrs of dropping off the truck with him.
Turns out, my truck was worse for wear than I had thought and the repair cost would have been more than the truck was worth. Instead of insisting on repairs, which would have costed me thousands, Doc advised me to cut my losses. I did have the option to repair it if I wanted to, but I sincerely appreciate him and his team’s honesty and insistence about it. Other shops I’ve had the displeasure of giving my business to would have tried to rake me over the coals, but not Doc!
You can tell as soon as you meet Doc and his team that they know their craft very well, and will take care of you and your vehicle to the best of their abilities.”

“Kevin was very generous and specific with his inspection findings and recommendations. He discussed options, pros and cons of various choices, and gave me his honest opinions about the risks/benefits of the options available. Not pushy at all, he wanted me to know and understand, the choices, and choose the best option for my circumstances. .
Kevin impressed me as being extremely knowledgeable and competent, gave me detailed information about the steps he took to do my job with a very high level of perfectionism.
Plus he had a free loaner car for my use while my vehicle was being serviced for several hours. That was a great help, and very uncommon in my experience.

“Glenn at Eastside Autoworks was just the person I was hoping to find. I have a 2018 Ram Promaster 2500 that has been converted for off grid camping. Adding more comforts of home, with the knowledge on how to keep my vitron electrical system operational and healthy was exactly what Glenn offered. And, as a bonus, he is a nice person. He even created with a 3D printer, a device to keep my engine computer dry in our PNW winters, brilliant. Yes, I can recommend this service. Happy Camping!”
“Honestly, I havent made an appointment yet, but seeing the detailed responses from management to those that had false narratives is making me want to. Ill update when i get my transmission repaired.
Side note: i never understood why people dont post what their expenses were, and for what, so ill be doin that too especially if i have any other serious repairs (i do 80% of the work on my mini sans anything that requires lifting things out of the bay)
Update 1. They have been very responsive, i dropped my car off the day before the appointment, Which was june 16th, And everything went smoothly. I was quoted around 420$ for transmission service on my 2015 mini cooper. I made sure to ask for pictures/videos. They are also letting me keep the car there while im out of state and theyre workin on the car. Phenomenal customer service so far ?
Update 2. I specifically asked for photos and/or videos of the work they were doing. I have received none. Is there shavings in the fluid? Are the gears abnormally worn? I wouldnt know bc theres no photos. They did NOT communicate at all over the course of 6 days, until i had to message Matt about an update. He tells me the engine torque mount needs replaced bc of vibration, okay good catch, but is the mount broken? Or is it just loose? He quoted me 170$ for the replacement. I pick up the car on june 25th. This is VERY FAIR pricing so i can give leeway on less talkin while theyre doin all the workin. Matt ended up sending me the photos after i asked again and clarified he had planned to show me when i got there to pick up.-its not his issue, though ive had service repairs go south when i didnt have consistent updates.
Last update: yall, how this man gonna do transmission repair and my radio is working better?! And they cleaned the front seat mats. Total was 584ish and the mini is running smooth. Absolutely coming back, and i suggest you do too

They’ve repeatedly demonstrated that they’ll be honest with what your car needs and doesn’t. It would be easy to do the service for a quick buck like other shops however they don’t. There’s a reason they’re rated so highly. Plus, Robert and Mark will take time to answer questions I’ve had even with their packed work schedule, I’ve always appreciated that.”

One mechanic said my timing belt was gone. I took my car to Paulsons & he realized it was just the starter, fixed it in an hour.
Then, recently, mt battery died & the initial mechanic told me it was the alternator.
Turns out, it was just a loose cable. Paulsons fixed it with zero charge.
I’ll forever go back here & recommend to everyone.”

“TLC AutoCare has taken care of my vehicles for many years. I was away for a few years and didn’t use them during that time, and in that period my older Ford Escape aged quite a bit and developed major oil leaks and other issues. When I came back to TLC Auto, they treated me with the same honesty, respect, and excellent service I remembered.
They recently completed major repairs on my Escape, including timing cover work, valve cover gaskets, a crankshaft seal, an intake manifold gasket, and a new power steering pump. The work was done carefully and thoroughly, and I feel much safer driving my SUV.
As a single older woman, I really appreciate how clearly Andy explained everything and how respectfully they treat me. They kept the repairs within the budget I gave them, and never pressured me into anything unnecessary. Jon did the actual repair work, and you can tell he takes real pride in doing things right.
They also provided a loaner car, which made the whole process so much easier.

“Excellent experience! I had a persistent differential whining noise in my 2017 Mercedes-Benz G63 that was noticeable at freeway speeds. A previous shop couldn’t pinpoint the source of the issue, and even the Mercedes dealer told me it could be “multiple things” without offering a clear answer.

“Loved the atmosphere of the place—reminds me of home on Oahu, HI. The high level of knowledge, customer service, and timeliness for their deals are too good to be true.
I’ve got four kids that rely on my car for transportation daily and one day the clutch wouldn’t go into gear. Barely being able to drive it, I was able to bring it into Ishii Motors. Within a day (due to parts shipping) they had my car out and fully operable—same day if they had the part on hand. In addition to solving my clutch problem, they also did a full check up which saved me tons of money and increased the life of my engine (maintenance repairs before problems occur).
I also recommend the full induction cleaning of the motor which made the engine very happy and noticeably increased performance.
