“Absolutely great experience each time. We've visited a few times now and it's always a pleasure. Staff is kind, and the place is clean. Well stocked, even had sushi. Nice deli and veggie/ fruit section with great pricing. They have the funniest cleaning robot my kids love to look for too. A great location.”
“After moving to Martinsburg from Ashburn Virginia I was looking for a grocery store that was similar to the Giant grocery store that I was use to. One stop for everything. After shopping the discount grocery store a few times and never finding everything I decided to try Martin's. That was 5 years ago and I've never been disappointed. I shop at least 2 times a week. Not only does Martin's have a great inventory of groceries they also carry a large selection of pet supplies cosmetics and much more including a pharmacy and gasoline that I always save money on by using my Martin's card. Sunday I got gasoline for 2.59 a gallon. Needless to say I always get my gas there too. Just a great place to get everything we need. Don't forget their bakery yummy.”

“Aldi claims to have the top 1500 most-shopped-for items. It is a small store, about the size of a convenience store, so you can grab almost everything you need quickly. And the prices are similar to Wal-Mart. Bring a quarter for the shopping cart.”

“I stopped going to DG years ago because the coupons in the app never worked when I got to the register. And of course there was always a long line behind me, so I just paid, disgusted. The clerks were never helpful with an angry mob looking at them. Things have really changed for the better. The stores not only offer more inventory, the APP functions as it should. Most of the clerks are very helpful, some even seem to really love their job. I find the ladies in this particular store go above and beyond their call of duty. Drawing my attention to markdowns, helping me with coupons and just being friendly. These attributes bring customers back and they should be rewarded for their excellent customer service.”
“Very nice and when I was looking everywhere for my baby formula they had called me back to let me know they had it and they are truly a life saver because I was looking everywhere for my baby formula and everywhere was out of it very nice friendly and very clean store I will be back and had also requested to have the formula my baby on saved for me and they said they will do it thank god for this store”

“Just had to take a second to write a review based the interaction I just had with the cashier in this store. I was standing in line and listening to the conversation he had with each customer ahead of me. I was literally smiling the entire time. He is the sweetest person I have ever encountered . I watched as he smiled at each customer and witnessed the most genuine ,wholesome interactions I have ever seen. I don’t know his name as it was not printed on my receipt but he was a young teen with light brown curly hair. To his managers; U HAVE A GEM!!! Thank u for making me smile and never let this world change you!!”
“I went to this Dollar General this morning because the one I go to regularly and is closer to me seems to have consistent issues with opening on time or finding someone to ring up your items...however you can find most of them outside smoking a cigarette and chatting...I think waiting for over 5 minutes is questionable.... so I went to the Dollar General off route 45 on shepherdstown road..... the semi grey haired gentleman was quite personable and we chatted a bit about the book he was currently reading and recommended.... the store was neat and orderly as well....I believe this will be my go to store...”
“Local convenience store. The door offer a hot food deli. All of the staff are very friendly. Although it's been a while nice I've ordered from the deli, the times that I did the food was very good.”
“I guess this is a pretty good Walmart. I haven't been inside one in decades but their food is pretty good as far as groceries go. Unfortunately they seem to be out of things on a regular basis. shopping online it appears that many items are available when in fact they are out of stock and they don't update the app. Shopping in person, it looks like someone looted and rioted the place. Shelves are completely devoid of certain items. I guess I need to go back after they get their delivery load.”

Today was an incredibly difficult day for me both mentally and physically, and it took everything I had just to leave the house. I forced myself to make the short drive to this location to pick up two essential items I desperately needed to make my day a little easier. Honestly, that brief drive felt like an eternity.
The moment I stepped through the doors, the heavy weight I was carrying lifted. I was immediately greeted by a beautiful young lady named Alicia. She was smiling from ear to ear, hard at work on her tasks, yet completely overflowing with natural friendliness and bubbliness.
When I went to the register, Alicia shifted her entire focus onto me. You could instantly tell that her warmth and kindness aren't forced—it just comes to her naturally. Without even knowing it, she made me feel like she sensed I was having a hard day and genuinely wanted to make it better.
I paid, walked out to my vehicle, and realized I had completely forgotten the second item on my list. When I walked back inside, Alicia welcomed me with that exact same radiant positivity. As I struggled to find what I needed, she immediately stopped what she was doing and asked how she could help. She knew exactly where the item was, guided me right to it, and truly put my needs first. On a day when I so desperately needed a helping hand, she made me feel special, seen, and important.
Without even realizing it, this sweet young lady made my day 1000% better simply by being herself.
This store is incredibly blessed to have Alicia. She treats customers with the absolute utmost respect and care. Management, please give this girl a well-deserved raise, and let her know how much she is appreciated!

“I did a return at Target and looked at a 6 cube cabinet with baskets to slide into the slots, but the 6 cube at Walmart was comparable price, but the slide in baskets at $5 were cheaper by half vs $10 at Target. Way to go Walmart, you made me happy today!”

“A restaurant supplier who breaks things down so you don't have to buy monster sizes. Another perk, most suppliers I've visited you have to know exactly what you want as it isn't a grocery store where you can browse. While the store is not particularly big it does allow you to physically walk the store and shop. You won't be able to get all your weekly shopping done here but it does offer good/great prices and access to mostly restaurant quality foods with a focus on but not limited to steaks/seafood/soups/pies. Personally, I think it is a great suppliment for the average consumers grocery.”
