“My wife and I have been here 11 years. After 30 years living in a house I wasn’t sure if I could live in an apartment. After moving in I realized that Northpointe is as warm as my home was. The staff and property have always been exceptional. This is our home. We love it here!”

“Crescent ApartmentsPros• Spacious and clean, with nice looking wooden floors and appliances• Safe – within a block of both a fire station and the sheriff’s department. Nobody’s stealing anybody’s mail or packages.• Clean – cleaning crew is cleaning the inside common areas weekly or bi-weekly, and do a great job• Staff – Jill, Stacy, Lexi, and everybody I encountered, including the maintenance guys, were super polite, friendly, helpful, and professional. Seriously, they care about doing their job right. They respond to problems promptly and are understanding during times of crisis or bad luck. They work with you as they can, and treat you like a person, and not a number.• Close to Vita gym, which you also have a free membership for part of the gym by way of your residence at the Crescent. Close to café. Close to three bus stops. Close to on ramp to interstate.• The BUILDING Cafe (not to be confused with the one across the street) is nice. It has a dishwasher, trash can, fridge, oven, sink, and Keurig coffee maker, as well as a nice couch, table, stools, and TV. It's great for inviting friends over for board games and beers. You have to have your building key to get in, so it's private to residents, and you can use it whenever you want 24/7.• Covered, heated parking.• Most of the neighbors are med students or professionals, so the place doesn’t smell like weed every day, there aren’t parties all the time, and you aren’t hearing your neighbors through the walls, as everybody pretty much works/studies/minds their business.• Close to Froedert and Aurora, two parks, and it’s a quick drive to Mayfair Mall, Pick N Save, Meijer, Metro Market, Stone Creek café, and most of these are along bus routes as well.Cons• You’ll have to get out of the block for other things to do. This is a developing area, so outside of the café, walk(ing your pet), or the gym, you gotta drive for something to do. Again, your neighbors are pretty reclusive, I imagine due to their work/studies.• Twice in the year, the trash chute (which is super SUPER convenient by the way) was blocked up by some moron trying to shove boxes down it (despite the sign saying not to do that). There’s a negative review on here that shows a photo of it, and whines about the management being responsible. Both of these occurrences happened Saturday night or Sunday, when the office is closed. Not sure how that’s management’s fault, but there you go.• Apartments plus parking is a little pricey. But I’m a very Spartan guy. My wife wanted all the bells and whistles.• There’s a pond nearby, and half of the year, it’s inhabited by hundreds of geese. These aren’t the psycho geese that attack you, but the . . . pooping kind, that load the sidewalks with poop. They try to clean them, but it’s a lot of poop.Overall, this is a great place to live. I've travelled a lot and lived in a lot of places, and this is in my top 3. It's a really nice, comfortable, peaceful place to stay. Goose poop and all.”

“I think the property is pretty however there are several issues with the building structure. But this is an older building, so I guess that is to be expected. The company that runs it (now) is better than the older one.”

“I've lived here over a year, and I think most of the negative reviews come from the previous landlord who is no longer managing the property as of fall 2021. The cost of rent is a several hundred dollars cheaper than comparable units in Milwaukee. Soundproofing between floors isn't perfect, but not terrible - I cannot make out conversations from my neighbors at all. I have interacted with current management several times and only have had positive experiences. Quick to respond and understanding. Nice location close to downtown. Would recommend.”

“My time living here was great. Never had an issue with noise, neighbors or the leasing office. Josh from maintenance was very good at getting back to you when there was an issue and got it fixed right away. I decided to move out due to my work commute (50+ mins) and when that time came Katelynn was AMAZING when answering all of my questions and concerns. She guided me through everything and followed up after my move to see if there was any other way she could help. I will recommend to anyone moving within the area.”

“I absolutely loved living here! The rooms are spacious, the buildings are well-maintained, and have all the amenities I needed. “Seems like in the past the management wasn't great, but so far everything has been amazing here. We moved here in early May. Communication on move-in date, expectations, etc. were clear.Unit we moved in to was clean and nothing was broken. We met maintenance that day and they were vey nice. Haven't had any issues so haven't had to call them.Neighbors are friendly and the area is quiet. Property is well taken care off and communication is always clear between property and tenants if there is any construction. Close to a lot of amenities as well!”

“Enjoyed my time at Pinewood! The rates weren't bad and I found them comparable to the area. The staff was always friendly and responded quickly. The walls/floor were thin and my neighbor complained about me walking around. Not much I could do about that. Outside of that I enjoyed my time here and would recommend moving here!”

“Living here feels like you're staying at a resort. All of the amenities are very well maintained- the saltwater pool is beautiful, the gym is kept clean, and the community room is always welcoming. All staff are incredibly responsive and make you feel like family. I don't see why anyone would want to move out ‍”

“Great place to stay with family and kids. Safe and sound to roam within society late in night. Was there for 3 years and never had issues. Maintenance requests were timely done and leasing office staffs are hospitable. We were able to extend month by month for 8 months during COVID time due to uncertainty with Job and Lorry was really helpful to accommodate our requests. Good nearby places for shopping in walkable distance. We moved to Kansas now but still miss Meadows time and friends overs there.”

“We just moved into this lovely complex and had a great experience with our leasing agent Kristine Thorpe. She is an amazing example of what I would want as a property owner representing my properties. She was extreme helpful in helping us navigate a leasing process, which many of us know, can be lengthy and frustrating. She showed kindness and patience...a rarity in todays market. Kristine was excited to show us the lovely amenities and the beautiful apartments they had available, and was warm and engaging. We were offered beverages and she sat with us to chat about our needs. We are extremely happy to be here now, and it's only day 3! EVERY ONE of our new neighbors were friendly and welcoming. It's a gorgeous place tucked back across from Mayfair Mall, and the grounds are very well maintained. Pet friendly and a great salt water heated pool we can't wait to enjoy in the spring. Note...very strict towing policies are the only thing I can find to complain about, and after reviewing this place before we decided to lease, I did notice that numerous other tenants had the same chief complaint. I've heard numerous stories about their cars being towed. ( yes...actual residents! ) I did mention this as a concern to Kristine and she helped us navigate our car registration to alleviate our concerns. Kudos to Mayfair reserve for finding this gem of an employee!”
