I needed help with an aluminum post and threading twist locks. Shawn immediately stopped what he was doing and took the time to help me find exactly what I needed. He even helped me secure the product onto my post right there in the store, making sure everything would work perfectly for me. He went above and beyond, and I’m genuinely in awe of the experience. It's important to note that this is a small business and specialty shop. Therefore, is clearly stated on the website/front door/business hours that appointments are required. I noticed some negative comments on reviews and, honestly, I'm not sure what is so hard for people to figure out(?!) -- their appointment policy is clearly spelled out and in place for a reason, in order for them to provide their full attention when working with you on your project. Amy knows her product lines better than anyone else around and will give you expert advice regarding design, quality and best available options, whether you are seeking high-end or more mid-range/affordably-priced pieces. Amy and Spring each helped us immensely in selecting cabinet pulls, door handles/knobs, and coat hooks that would match our desired finish. They were both lovely to work with and so generous with their time. Hardware Studio is a clearly a Madison gem!”
“If you like old style lumber yards, this is your place! Brother and sister showed me around and answered questions. They were both McCormicks - 3rd generation! I picked up some sitka spruce. Beautiful wood. They are known for specialty boating wood (e.g. okoume plywood and sitka spruce) amongst the standard array of lumberyard materials. This lumberyard is WELL WORTH the visit!”

“These guys have a TON of stuff in the store front and that's not to mention what I'm sure they can order or have in back or the yard.
Any place can order stuff in or so can you with the magic of the internet. I recommend stopping in here if you are having trouble finding something that you'd prefer to just walk in and pick up specialty concrete tool-wise.
Their prices are comparable to other commercial concrete equipment etc. Suppliers in the area.
I found a specific control joint trowel here that other shops either didn't have or didn't have in stock.
Staff were pleasant and knowledgeable of the products they sell, or at least the things I was looking for.

“Went in to get a generator, and Chris from gardening came from out of nowhere, unlocked the cage, and helped us put the generator on the cart, took it to the front and helped us put it in the car. He was so sweet and kind and aided us the entire time. The store was clean and the staff was so friendly. I highly recommend!”

“I should have wrote this awhile ago, but better late than never. The management and staff at this location are just incredible. They are cheerful, welcoming, knowledgeable and just overall a joy. It’s a luxury to walk into a corporate chain like this and it feel like a small business. Kudos to management who obviously very much hires for friendly personalities and customer service.”
