“Took bike in with one known major issue (chain was severely messed up) and one minor one (wheel needed to be trued). They found a second major issue in the consult (brake-related) and charged $60 for everything which I think is very fair for the labor and knowledge. Will come back here again whenever my bike is having issues.”

“All the staff were incredibly helpful and nice. The whole fitting was incredibly comprehensive and explained to me. I felt like I knew why every part was adjusted and how because everything was explained to me. They have tons of warranties and deals! Great for new or experienced riders! I learned so much and I cant wait to go to a bike maintenance class!”

“I was looking for a particular bike online and found that Greg had one, just in a different size. I reached out via email to see if the shop might get one in my size and if Greg would be willing to ship to me (a few states away). Greg went above and beyond any response I expected. He spoke to the vendor about future shipments, came up with an alternative option, and even offered the names of a few shops local to me if we couldn’t make it work. I wasn’t able to make a purchase at Everyday Cycles, but felt that the effort Greg put into helping a potential customer was worth writing a review. Thanks, Greg!”

“Absolutely worth the drive from Chicago! Ben’s Cycle is a standout bike shop and I couldn’t be happier with the bike I found. Jonah and Vince were knowledgeable and helpful. I ended up with an incredible commuter that feels perfect for what I needed after 3 weeks of actively scouring Chicago for a bike. We will absolutely be back, highly recommend!”

“Very novice cyclist here, if I can even call myself that at this point. I purchased an extremely cheap, but customizable bike from a big box store. Also went and purchased some bike parts and accessories. It should come to no surprise that I had no idea how to do anything to the bike, and I also had no clue how to make minor adjustments or add the accessories I purchased. I wanted to replace my saddle so I stopped into Vulture Space and was glad to know they had some used saddles available, at a great price. There were also some great folks inside that helped me work on the bike. They gave me tips, helped me through challenges with the bike, and I eventually replaced the saddle myself, and learned how to angle it correctly. I also brought a new set of pedals with me and they showed me how to switch them out and left me to tinker on my own. I eventually switched the pedals out, and they were the perfect addition. I also asked about the distance of my drop bars and one of the volunteers made some suggestions. I went and bought a small bike tool set, and I have been making small adjustments and adding accessories to my bike all evening. I even assisted my mom with switching out her saddle and adjusting her handle bars. Can’t wait to go back to Vulture Space to do some more tinkering!”
