“I have a Hey E-bike I bought on line a few years back. Needed a couple small repairs and tune up. I called a few bike shops and basically was turned away since I didn’t buy it at their shop. Understand their point and was willing to pay their 100.00 minimum but then was told I would have to find the parts. Needless to say, and won’t mention who, will never do business with them and will tell others as well. However as a last effort I saw this listing. What a breath of fresh air the way I was treated, did repairs and tuned it up! All under 100.00 and rides better than when I got it! “Just want to give a shout out to these guys for hooking me up with my first road bike. The owner set me up with what I believe to be a pretty sweet deal on a used bike. Got me new tires, clipless pedals, shoes, a basic fitment done, along with adjusting the stem/bars for me.

I'm pretty happy with the bike and the service. I took it home, cleaned it up a bit and lubed the chain. I then set a 10mile PR on my first ride with the new bike, so mission accomplished! The bike I got just so happen to pretty much be exactly what I was looking for in terms of riding style and fit.

Alex is awesome as well. I had some concerns about the bottom bracket and took it in. Alex Disassembled it Infront of me and inspected it ensuring me that it was okay. That was very much appreciated as I realize it was a used bike and was not expecting a warranty type service encounter.

I don't think they do much used bike sales, so it's sort of hit or miss with what they have in terms of used stock.

Their new bike stock is impressive with a wide variety to choose from, and they have a nice selection of new cycling accessories and clothing as well.”

Brought my bike in for service and the tech that helped me (wish I would have caught his name) was honest and didn't pressure me into any work my bike didn't need. Work was done quickly. “Wow! The Bikesmiths are the best. Superb customer service. I have an old 90s Schwinn Impact 26 inch mtb I am restoring that was from when I was a teenager. The rear dropout is 130mm and although it is safe to coldest a frame to the modern 135mm they were willing to have their wheel makers make me a special 130mm hub wheel that perfectly fits my bike. And they did it at no extra cost! Amazing! Highly recommend. They are also very patient. I had a lot of questions and even one canceled order but in the end I got the perfect wheels for my old bike. ?? ? Thanks and God bless!”

“Very novice cyclist here, if I can even call myself that at this point. I purchased an extremely cheap, but customizable bike from a big box store. Also went and purchased some bike parts and accessories.

It should come to no surprise that I had no idea how to do anything to the bike, and I also had no clue how to make minor adjustments or add the accessories I purchased.

I wanted to replace my saddle so I stopped into Vulture Space and was glad to know they had some used saddles available, at a great price. There were also some great folks inside that helped me work on the bike. They gave me tips, helped me through challenges with the bike, and I eventually replaced the saddle myself, and learned how to angle it correctly. I also brought a new set of pedals with me and they showed me how to switch them out and left me to tinker on my own. I eventually switched the pedals out, and they were the perfect addition. I also asked about the distance of my drop bars and one of the volunteers made some suggestions. I went and bought a small bike tool set, and I have been making small adjustments and adding accessories to my bike all evening. I even assisted my mom with switching out her saddle and adjusting her handle bars.

Can’t wait to go back to Vulture Space to do some more tinkering!”

“Popped a spoke on a recently tuned up bike. Out of state ride scheduled the following weekend and many shops were full up for service. I called Hans and he was polite, courteous and told me to bring my bike in that day. Two days later, it was ready for pickup. Good pricing as well and he called me on completion before the weekend. The shop has tons of inventory and is located right off the New Berlin trail. Thanks for taking care of my service issue before I headed out of town for a multi day ride.”
