“I love this Trader Joe's. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. The store has so much stuff for such a small footprint. It can get a little crowded but never too overwhelming. It has all the grocery staples and also so many delicious snacks. You can't beat the price/quality of the wine. Easily the best place in Madison for wine.”
“Store is quite disorganized. Some prices are quite high, others okay, there were a few deals. Web pricing may not match shelves, but it is correct and was lower than shelf price. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly.... they made the visit.”

“Everything you need from a grocery shop, good quality at cheaper rates. Open 24 hours. Asian groceries too at cheaper rates. Lots of parking and gas always available at rates cheaper than gas stations around.”
“Recently moved from Japan to Madison with my Korean-Japanese partner and this place has been a lifesaver. Of course, prices are higher than in Japan, but not egregiously so. The lady, who I assume is an owner, also speaks Japanese and is very nice. We even learned a couple cooking secrets!”
“Hidden gem if you’re looking for more than just groceries. A-Mart has a little bit of everything going on. The deli had a line when I visited, which is usually a good sign, and the self-serve boba station was a fun surprise. You can customize your own drink with different teas, boba, and toppings. There’s even a row of claw machines tucked inside that gives the place a unique vibe. A little busy, a little chaotic, but that’s part of the charm. Definitely worth stopping in to browse, grab a bite, and see what catches your eye.”

“Great Woodmans gas station
The two employees working on weekdays are always friendly.
Gas prices are the best on the west side and the most affordable almost always here.
The only thing that is missing here is a automatic car wash,vacuums and oil change service.
It would be a good idea to add these services if possible because at all other Woodmans gas stations the car wash service is always great at an affordable price and same goes for their oil change service.It would be a good idea to use some of the parking lot behind the gas station to make this possible and would most likely be a huge success especially with the west side of Madison growing at a high rate in population every year.”

“Today I stopped in Ken’s because I wanted some Grandma’s potato salad. I went up to the counter and asked the lady how much a half pound of Grandma’s potato salad was. After she gave me the price, I told her I only had $2.18. She said that was fine and proceeded to put the sticker on it. Then she went up to the cash register and handed me 30 cents. As I was getting ready to pay, I went to swipe my card and told the cashier that he only had to charge me $2.18 first, but he told me he had it. I even tried to give the change back, but he still said he had it covered. Small acts of kindness like this really mean a lot, and I just want to say thank you to this wonderful staff for their kindness and generosity.”
“The food was so good, I forgot to take a picture before destroying it. I got the beef pho and I knew it was gonna slap the minute I saw the light colored broth ? also got a pork egg roll that I ate with the red sauce they sell on the side, 10/10 recommend. Gonna go back with my husband soon and bless his taste buds.”

“Came here to try Middle Eastern food again after trying it a few years ago. Ever since I moved, I’ve been wanting to find a good spot, and I’ve got to say this is now my goto place. I ordered the spicy chicken shawarma, and damn, it was absolutely delicious.
After seeing mixed reviews, I was only expecting an okay meal, but the food completely blew me away. The staff was super helpful, and I even had a nice chat with the butcher.
This place is a real hidden gem. I’ll definitely be coming back for lunch often, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. I’m not exaggerating you need to try this! I am not kidding. I wish I had photos of the food but I ate it all before taking some pictures lol.”
“We had a large family reunion last weekend and catered much of the food from Los Perez. It was fantastic. Everything was delish. Great tortillas and meats. The rice and beans orders were HUGE and SO good. We ended up ordering much more food than we could eat! Dishes we really loved included the pastor pork, the barbacoas de res, Salsa de Aguacate / Avocado Sauce, and, as mentioned above, the freshly made tortillas are awesome.
The whole thing was a great value too. We felt we got so much for our money. I had a bit of a challenge ordering because I do not speak Spanish, but the manger Armando walked us through it. Highly recommended! I would definitely order for a large party from here again.”

“I have been in Madison for more than three years and this is the place I always gor for Indian grocery. I go there for curvy leaves, jack fruit, lotus root, green chilli, goat meat, and spices. They get fresh stuff around Tuesdays around 6 pm. If you go there around that time, you can buy all the fresh vegetables, fish and meat.”
“Good selection and best prices that I've found. The dumpling selection is quite extensive.
When you walk in, there is a distinct and pleasant smell. It doesn't matter what day or time, there are always customers. Even so, checking out is quick.”
“I grew up in Arizona, in a city that's nearly 70% Hispanic. So I'm used to really good, authentic Mexican food. But since we moved to Madison last summer, it's been so hard to find really good Mexican food.
This place really gets it right. Everything here is great, but the birria is especially amazing - it's equal to anything I had during my several years living in Mexico. I'm so glad this place is here.”

“Walmart is always a convenient place to shop, but did you know their garden center has a nice selection of plants. Pernials, annuals, and lots of vegetables and herb plants. Most plants were hardy, but a few needed some good plant love. Hence, the rating we decided on. They also have fencing to protect your purchases from animals, trellis to help them climb, and plant growing foods.”

“This is a nice little grocery store that is easily walking accessible. Super cute place to buy your basic needs for the week. They have a bakery and a deli as well. I was happy to support a local business when I came in. It can just be a little hard to find some things because if you don't know it, some essentials are stored behind the cashier counter, where it is inaccessible to customers. I had no issues other than that. They have a nice huge parking lot as well. I highly recommend checking them out.”

“Clean pleasant store. I noticed it was much easier to navigate the aisles than my last visit to TJ MAxx. Register associates were SUPER nice— cashier Surgit was fast and efficient and so nice. A Facebook post I read recommended Walmart for nice dresses to wear to church and I found two! Who knew?? Fabric on both dresses is really good quality and dresses are well made.”
